TOPIC: ISSUE130 - "How children are socialized today determines the destiny of society. Unfortunately, we have not yet learned how to raise children who can help bring about a better society."

A famous sayong goes, "Children is hope in the future." In nature, no one can  avoid the natural law of that all things conform to this process from birth to death. Therefore, how cultivate and socialize our children better is a essential issue. However, I think that we should treat this problem fairly. To the opinion of "we have not yet learned how to raise children who can help bring about a better society" , I do not think that it is a perfect and just remark.
    Recall the whole human beings' development , our constant progress prove that offspring do better last generation. From primitive epoch to slavery society, to feudalism society, then to captalism, finally to now, our we always develop forward. This show that we raise our children in a correct way in a whole.
    Maybe above those  words I present is somewhat abstract, just like windbaggary, which can not explain nowaday situation on cultivating children. Then let us put our eyes on education, because education's direct object is children, which can most reflect the situation we raise children.
    According to a official report, expenditure to education have accounted for 6.83 %  in total Chinese fiscal expenditure. Although this figure is not outstanding, compare to ten years ago, Government have try its best to education, and a plan of developing education in future ten years will intend to increase the proportion to 10%. In fact, look back those world powerful nations, no any one grew up not through developing education. Britain, the first strong country in worldwide scope, have the most ancient universiy and the Royal Society; American have the best and the most large-scaled high education; Japan made the fundamental national policy----"Education is essential of a nation" ... Apparently our government pay more attention to our future--children. This measure and government's attitude on education must let our children have a nice future. Our next generation will be good, our society will must be better too. No wonder that a famed scientist optimistically assert that "I never feel so good about our future, because I never see so good educaton like now."
     Actually, not only our outstanding education but also parents and society create a nice environment for children. I never image that present parents how to cultivate their children. They dedicate to children so much, look after their children meticulously. For those, we have not any reason to question that we can raise children who create a better society.
     Of course, we can not ignore some exist problems about raising children too.Nowadays children become more untame and individual, and more and more violent, blood, erotic cultures are poisoning our children. The shooting case of Virginia campus not long ago expose many problems. To children we should do more things, and more engage in their spirit world.
     In a word, generally we raise children well who can benefit our society, although some adverse problems still exist. But perhaps we can do better.
