好久没写issue，憋出来一篇，大家狠狠拍吧

The speaker assert that how next generation socialize is determinative to destiny of society and we are not capable of rightly rising children for a better society. Although I agree with the great influence of socialization, I think the speaker unfairly generalize current social ability of helping children to socialize , for in  most aspects we are doing well while in others not.

In discussing the determinative effect of how well children socialize I strongly support the speaker for two reasons. For one reason, appropriate socialization may significantly promote children’s own improvement and ultimately the development of entire society. Since children are about to be the key player in not far-away future, it takes merit to help them know and get insight into society before they fully enter it. Common sense suggests that the most period in shaping one person’s character and personality is juvenile when most children are still in schools. In this time , proper socialization can make them realize both prosperity and problems in society, which may help student to set their goals and prepare for it . For example , after known that Soviet Union had launched the first satellite , much more students than in US chose to major in science and technology related with space and rocket , which later greatly helped to make the leadership of US in space . This also promote the development of science and technology in other fields and ultimately accelerate the progress of entire society .
   
The other reason has something to do with improper and undue socialization . Everyone is aware of that children are usually curious , good at emulating and lack discrimination, which means they are vulnerable to negative effects from current complex society. In nowadays TV and movies there are too much content about crime, violence , drug use, drinking .Unfortunately many children can easily get access to them and as a result many kids try to emulate just for fun but get great troubles. Besides , undue socialization also do harm to youngsters. Modern society excessively encourages competition and put too importance on commercial success while at the same time education support cooperation and personal interest. If students accept those social ideas early in school, they may communicate less with peers or choose careers with higher income in expense of self interests , which is contrary to the goal of education .So it is clear that how children socialize determine the future of society.

Then turn to the question : do we not know how to raise children properly as the speaker says? No. Situation varies from case to case. To help kids know more about society and different people ,many effective measure have been taken and functions well. By finishing community work , kids contact different people , by doing part-time job or staying in parents’ workplace for a while they know more about work and career, by visiting government offices children understand more about government, by joining organized activities aboard they get more information about other cultures and traditions. In these cases we are doing well and will be better in future. However, in some other cases we need to be improved . The problem in TV , movies and other medias is just one. Others include undue attention to money ,insufficient attention to world affairs and so on . Generally speaking, we are educating children in a rightly except some flews.

To sum up , how kids socialize today have significant influence in future society as the speaker asserts , but by considering current situation I don’t agree with speaker’s opinion that we have not learned to raise children who could bring better society.
