Issue 83 "Government should preserve publicly owned wilderness areas in their natural state, even though these areas are often extremely remote and thus accessible to only a few people."
正文:
Environmental protection has its wide-ranging extensions and deep-going connotations. The issue of whether publicly owned wilderness should be protected on the government level is also a complex and controversial one; different people may hold various opinions due to their particular backgrounds and unique perceptions. On balance, as far as I am concerned, just as we could not simply decide whether an orange will be the favorite of our guests, a final judgment should rest on a case-by-case analysis.

On the one hand, there is no escaping the fact that many wilderness areas--especially the remote ones provide us plenty of resources and have a significant meaning in maintaining the balance of the nature. For example, forests, which could maintain the water, withhold the bad weather, and adjust the climate, might largely exist in many unexploited areas. Thus, the government might at least take practicable measures to make sure that the forests do not largely destroyed by the fire or human being's short-sighted behavior of deforestation. Otherwise, due to the uncontrolled behavior toward deforestation, many districts in China, for instance, become deserts that are no longer proper for people to live in. And more unfortunately, we see that many of the areas used to be highly developed districts and the cultivation, prosperity and glory created by the predecessors at the bygone days could not be seen for ever.

Further, a lot of species in these areas are at risk due to pollution or the deterioration of the environment, their dying life calls for the cherishment and protection of humankind. And most importantly, many of these species both have scientific value, and once they become extinct, it would be a really pity for all the humans living on the planet as a whole. For example, the panda, generally considered as fat and cute, has existed for billions of yeas and is accepted as a live fossil. Besides satisfying the tourists' curiosities and interesting in the park, they could tell us many about the past. Thus, we should protect them and protect the wilderness area they usually moving around to at least provide them a basic living space.

On the other hand, not all the wildernesses deserve our instant efforts of protection and our government sometimes does not have the ability to protect them. Some species lived in the wilderness, gradually lost the basic ability of living in the wild due to the natural choice. And many districts do have not significant value while protecting them will cost a lot of money. Moreover, many people in the Africa are starving, a myriad of people are suffering the pain of AIDS and cancel, the unknown or unpredictable events treating the society, for instance, terrorists and earthquakes. Thus, we should at least focus on the pressing time and adopt strategy in time to make our society function efficiently and effectively.

Oranges are delicious while eating too much will be assumed to be tedious. Likewise, our government should take into account wilderness protection has so much significant value from different aspects while at the same time should recognize the reality and sometimes focus on our problems. Thus, simply placing an emphasis on the protection does not have remarkable value, and above all, what an efficient government needs to do is considering thoroughly of the negative and positive effects of the strategy before deciding whether protecting a region or not.
这篇用了很多套话, 而正文展开不够,自己都觉得不太合适了,呵呵.

先赞一下,老大这次动作很快嘛~~~~~
Environmental protection has its wide-ranging extensions and deep-going connotations. The issue of whether publicly owned wilderness should be protected on the government level is also a complex and controversial one; different people may hold various opinions due to their particular backgrounds and unique perceptions. On balance, as far as I am concerned, just as we could not simply decide whether an orange will be the favorite of our guests, ( 这个是俚语还是你编的啊?)a final judgment should rest on a case-by-case analysis.
On the one hand, there is no escaping the fact (有点不通吧)that many wilderness areas--especially the remote ones provide us plenty of resources and have a significant meaning in maintaining the balance of the nature. For example, forests, which could maintain the water, withhold the bad weather(?常听说风卷风把森林树都吹倒的例子,我觉得这样说不太合适,放大了它的作用), and adjust the climate, (感觉例子不能很恰当的支持你的TS)might largely exist in many unexploited areas. Thus, the government might at least take practicable measures to make sure that the forests do not largely destroyed by the fire or human being's short-sighted behavior of deforestation. (而且我突然想到,这个荒野是怎么定义的啊,我认为荒野就是光秃秃的一片,如果有森林,那算不算荒野呢?)Otherwise, due to the uncontrolled behavior toward deforestation, many districts in China, for instance, become deserts that are no longer proper for people to live in.
Thus, we should protect them and protect the wilderness area they usually moving around to at least provide them a basic living space.
On the other hand, not all the wildernesses deserve our instant efforts of protection and our government sometimes does not have the ability to protect them. Some species lived in the wilderness, gradually lost the basic ability of living in the wild due to the natural choice(selection).

Environmental protection has its wide-ranging extensions and deep-going connotations.(这种开头值得好好学习) The issue of whether publicly owned wilderness should be protected on the government level is also a complex and controversial one; different people may hold various opinions due to their particular backgrounds and unique perceptions.(很不错的表达) On balance, as far as I am concerned, just as we could not simply decide whether an orange will be the favorite of our guests这个没有听说过。。。), a final judgment should rest on a case-by-case analysis. On the one hand, there is no escaping the fact that many wilderness areas--especially the remote ones provide us plenty of resources and have a significant meaning in maintaining the balance of the nature. And most importantly, many of these species both both应该用得不对吧have scientific value, and once they become extinct, it would be a really pity for all the humans living on the planet as a whole. For example, the panda, generally considered as fat建议可以使用cherubic,来呼应cut,而且熊猫那不是胖啊,是胖乎乎啊!) and cute, has existed for billions of yeas and is accepted as a live fossil. Thus, we should at least focus on the pressing time and adopt strategy in time to make our society function efficiently and effectively.Oranges are delicious while eating too much will be assumed to be tedious.( 一个很好的比喻) Likewise, our government should take into account wilderness protection has so much significant value from different aspects while at the same time should recognize the reality and sometimes focus on our problems. Thus, simply placing an emphasis on the protection does not have remarkable value, and above all, what an efficient government needs to do is considering thoroughly of the negative and positive effects of the strategy before deciding whether protecting a region or not.我觉得使用这种A+B=C型的格式和思路很好,用这种on the one hand, further,
On the other hand 的组织形式也确实使得文章有浑然一体的感觉,很不错的!呵呵)
