    Do political decisions and activities affect all aspects of our lives nowadays? Are all the impacts unfortunate and miserable? Although we must admit the fact that our lives are inevitably affected, their impacts are complex and not just unfortunate.
  
  Admittedly, our everyday lives are more or less affected by the political decisions and activities. Someone may claim that we have our own right nowadays, we are free to choose the food to eat that we enjoyed, to decide how to spend our spare time after work, to lead a lifestyle that fancinated ourselves. Notwithstanding, to some extent, we are constrained from the so called "freedom". We must choose the food to eat due to our finance situation, we must decide which activities to take according to how much free time is available, for there maybe some activities such as traveling, which we are very eager to do, require a long time to do them, we must lead the lifestyle that is permitted by the law produced by the government. And the political decisions and activities are conducive to all these constraint, for they affect our incomes, set such rules that we can take how many days on a break a week, established a law that we must conform to at any circumstance. Therefore, no matter we admit it or not, the political decisions and activities permeate through our lives and affect every respect of them.      
  
  Meanwhile, some of effects produced by the political decisions are negative and miserable.
A case in point is the investment on "Star Wars", which is presented by the president Reagon and finally get permitted by the Congress, turned out to be a big mistake and a waste of money. If we make the decision to spend the money on other aspects such as promoting the awareness of ADIS, controlling violence, then it will have positive rather than negative effect. But the decision to invest the money on the groundless plan “Star Wars” waste our limited resources and do nothing good for our society to progressing. So some decisions can cause negative effects in our society if the government did not consider the issue too well and haste to make a decision.      
  
However, the political decisions and activities generate far more seminal impacts on our society at present. Government make the structure of our society. It is the laws that make our country function well, those evil people get punished and benefactors are eulogized. We all benefit from the education system, charity work, medical system and so forth. It will increase our work efficiency and promote mental healthy under a safety and stable society. And it is hard to imagine what our country will turn into without these fundamental structures of our society, it will be a place full of violence, relentless, and poverty. So the decisions and activities do lots of benefits to our society.

  In sum, it is fortunate that political decisions and activities affect all aspect of our everyday lives, notwithstanding they have some bad effect to some extent, for the benefits of them outweigh the negative effect.
