argument 97 The following appeared in a memo from the manager of television station KICK.
"A nationwide survey reveals that a sizeable majority of men would like to see additional sports programs on television. After television station WACK
increased its sports broadcasts, its share of the television audience in its viewing area almost doubled. To gain a larger audience share in our area, and
thus increase company profits, KICK should also revise its broadcast schedule to include more sports coverage."

⒈受全国调查及W台成功的影响，K台经理建议增加体育节目播出时间
⒉⑴首先，全国范围的调查数据不一定适用于K地。
   ⑵同理，W台的成功并不保证K台也会成功，可能二地人口组成有很大差异。
   ⑶即使上两条成立，W台的成功不一定是多播体育节目的结果，可能期间别的节目很出色。
   ⑷因此K台播出体育节目也不一定能吸引更多观众。
   ⑸就算观众多了，还要考虑成本如转播费，少播出其他节目可能的损失等。
⒊因此在没有查清当地情况，及明确体育节目与观众增加的确切关系前，不宜下结论。
