With the development of human society, politics originated. As the society evolves, the aim and effect of politics also varies in different social system. But political decisions and activities do affect people's life in whatever society, no matter positive or negative. In modern world, the effects are extensive and more likely to be positive than negative.

The ultimate intentions of politics varied with different social systems. In feudal system especially some monarchy, politics is an effective tool of ruling civilians and its intention is to serve the interests of the king or monarch, as a result of which, politics take little attention on most people's life and thus usually have negative effects. The construction of the world famous pyramids in Egypt can be a good example. In ancient Egyptian religion, placing the dead body in such a construction after one's death would lead his soul to the heaven. So pharaohs--the representation of authority--strived to force slaves to build such immense construction. In the process of over a hundred years, unbelievable large number of people died of starvation or tiredness. On the slaves stand, these politic orders or decisions completely destroyed their life. Even in the early years of Western countries when democrats were still a dream, politicians who have the rights to make politic decisions and take activities, were still the representative of the authority which made politics still a tool of pursue benefits for those who have authority.
In order to realize this intention, common civilians were usually the objects they extract benefits from. For the majority of the society, what politics brought about was still disadvantages.

Now in modern world where democracy and freedom have been widely realized, the effect of politics is becoming more and more positive for civilians. As government and the political system are voted by the populace, decisions and actions they make such as increasing employment, setting legal vocations, limiting working hours are most likely for the use of bring more benefits to the vast majority. For a single person, these decisions and actions can have significant influence either good or bad. For instance, the male citizens of many countries are facing compulsory enlistment in the National Service, and the rise of interest rate may bring more interest to a depositor. But for the whole society, political decisions and actions, which may seem harmful to a single citizen, may have a global profit for the whole society or the whole country, as the compulsory enlistment is on the other hand a necessary regulation for the guarantee of national security. Sometimes, common people may only see the benefits just in front of eyes, but people who take the responsibility to make political decisions and actions must have foresight and could predict some insightful result. In this way, these acts may seem to be negative on the very moment, but in the long run, they have final benefits. Environmental protection measures are usually of this kind.

Though political decisions are usually positive to people’s life, we still need to be conscious that some political decisions and actions may be not advisable, and thus have lethal influence on people's life, especially those in other countries. Actually, Iraq's invading war towards Kuwaiti took great disaster to Kuwaitians. Overall, we cannot deny the fact that politics are bringing more benefit to people's life.

In conclusion, it is true that political decisions and actions in this society affect many aspects of people’s life, but we cannot say it is unfortunate. In contrast, they are most likely to be beneficial. What our politician should most take into account is that the positive effects on most people should take the expense of other people’s. Only in this way can politics bring more advantages to people’s life.

1、 题目说，政府决策影响到人们生活的方方面面， 我觉得咱们要论证的是，究竟这个联系存不存在，是否像题目说的那样广泛存在？ 而这篇文章分正负两个方面来说社会的影响，对这个联系的存在性缺没有特别的论证或说明，感觉不是太对…… 另外一种理解就是，这篇文章例子用了很多。但是关于逻辑成分的说明和分析自然就少了
2、关于语法或句子：感觉可以再雕琢一下~有些句子，也说不好它是对是错，咎其原因就是感觉说法比较生僻..多参考范文增加语感~~
