I agree that history have a lot of use on our daily lives, however, when to the extent that it is relevant to other aspects such as politics and society, I must argue that history is strongly beneficial.


It is beneficial for us to study the history of our ancestors, the successful ones of which can tell us how to deal with the difficulties and problems correctly, while the failure of which can teach us what we should not do in the similar conditions as they were. For example, it was the autobiography of Marie Curie that encouraged me to persist in my idea when I was facing some seemingly unconquerable problems in the research of atom force microscope. And, many young people have been affected positively by the history of Thomas Edison, Newton and Da Vinci, who taught them to be inquisitive, inspective and patient in studying since the childhood.


At the same time, other fields also needs to research history. As someone said "history is a mirror, which can tell us what is right, what is wrong " Indeed, many political decisions or significant event could not be judge wrong or right in that time, only have seen the results can we get to know how they were. Knowing that, governments can make better and comprehensive decision. A case in the point, by researching the flagrant World War Two, which caused more than 50,000,000 casualty and tremendous economical loss, most of the governments over the world got to understand such a great significance of peace that they construct UN and other international institutions to make all efforts on keeping world peace. On the contrary, if we ignore the study of the war, the countries are more likely to fight against just for some short-term behalf. If it is really the case, what a horrible agony the human will suffering!


It is always useful that we study history in the field of culture which make us well understand their special behaviors, ideologies, customs and cultures according to their different histories. Race confliction in the United States and Middle East are always due to the misunderstanding and intolerance of other cultures. Why women in North America and Europe have higher status than the ones in Middle East? Such questions like this can all be found answers from the history of them. Only understanding these verities among different peoples can we contain and tolerate each other. Consequently, the society will be more stable and people with different background will get well along with each other.


In sum, history is the aggradations of human beings for thousands of years, which including knowledge, intelligence, spiritual beliefs and cultures. Consequently, whether to the extent of daily live or other fields of the society, history is worth studying.
