65.The following appeared in a memo from the president of a chain of cheese stores located throughout the United States.

"For many years all the stores in our chain have stocked a wide variety of both domestic and imported cheeses. Last year, however, the five best-selling cheeses at our newest store were all domestic cheddar cheeses from Wisconsin. Furthermore, a recent survey by Cheeses of the World magazine indicates an increasing preference for domestic cheeses among its subscribers. Since our company can reduce expenses by limiting inventory, the best way to improve profits in all of our stores is to discontinue stocking many of our varieties of imported cheese and concentrate primarily on domestic cheeses."



The arguer assumes if the company wants to improve their profits in all their stores, the best way is to stock many varied of domestic cheese instead of imported cheese. This argument at first glance may be reasonable, but there are several facets that are obvious arguable.

In the first place, the argument informs that the five best-selling cheeses at our newest store were all domestic cheddar cheeses from Wisconsin last year. However, there is no guarantee that selling domestic cheddar cheeses from Wisconsin in our newest store  can make enough money. For example, it is entirely possible that the new srores(stores) in order to propagandize them, subsequently do the promotion for only the domestic cheddar cheeses from Wisconsin such as bring dowm(down) their price or give(giving) consumers some presents(?) while they purchase them. Maybe this is(these are) the reasons why the domestic cheddar cheeses from Wisconsin sell better than other cheeses. But under this situation, it is impossible to(for) the stores that(?) they can improve theit profits.(to improve their profits)

In the second place, whether the five newest stores which are selling cheeses from Wisconsin best(in which cheeses from Wisconsin are best sold) are open up at the same place(这句只有主语). If these stores are in the same place, there may be concluded(it is likely) that citizens who live in that place have (the)same preferences about(for) the cheeses. They all enjoy the domestic cheddar cheeses from Wisconsin. (重复)It is entirely possible that the five new storest(stores) are just open up at Wisconsin. There is no doubtful(doubt,最好不要说的太绝对) that why(it may be the reason why) cheeses from Wisconsin.are selling(sell) so(delete) best. Hence, just (according to) the condition of the five new stores (it)cannot be concluded that stocking domestic cheeses furthermore(?) the cheddar cheeses from Wisconsin (concentrate primarily on domestic cheeses,文中并没特别强调某一种cheese)can improve the profits of the stores.

At(delete) last but not least, the reliability and generalizability(你是要写generalization吗) of the survey are open to question(?). The World magazine fails to provide how many people order this magazene(magazine) and how many people take part in this survey. Maybe just a small percentage (of) people attended (the) survey and gave the limited answers(?), so the result is not generalizability(is lack of generalization). And(Moreover) the World magazine also fails to provide the occupation of the survey respondents, the result may be attributable to those particularly individuals whose work are selling cheeses or do the research on how to make cheeses.(如果是这样的话，那么不是恰好说明此杂志提供的调查更局说服力？) As the result of that(As a result), the reliability of the survey is doubtful.

In sum, the arguer fails to provide the cause and effect（这里不应该用名词） relationship between the(delete) stocking varied of domestic cheese furthermore(?) the cheeses from Wisconsin. in their stores and the profits improved(时态问题，这句的意思是被提高了的利润) of the stores. If the arguer wants to make his argument more forceful, he must make a thorough survey and provide sufficient and effective evidences to support his argument（最好点出什么样的evidence）
总体的感觉是对的，可能因为仓促出现了语法和拼写错误，一定要多多注意，因为这有可能影响到文章整体层次。加油写哦！
