总感觉陈述事实性的命题挺不好说的,想半天才分出了两段,而且第二分论点感觉有点跑,实在是没话可说,才硬挖深层原因。。

Just as Shakespeare said, “There are one thousand Hamlets in one thousand people's eyes." which indicates that different people have different views toward the same thing and the same world. I fundamentally agree with the speaker that after studying the academic discipline, we alter the way we perceive the world , if not so, there is no use of studying academic discipline and seeking for higher education. It is just the different views and perceiving ways that can fulfill and make our life colorful, and more important is that such different views can satisfy the specialization of the whole society and also contribute to making progress of human being.
To begin with, different disciplines endow us different gifts after we study them, they can not only shape our specific knowledge system and also enable us to form our unique thinking and perceiving way. Just as Bacon once said: histories make men wise; poets witty; the math subtle; natural philosophy deep; moral grave; logic and rhetoric able to contend. For example, It is natural for biologist or students after studying biology to perceive an ordinary oak as a different and good research objective. That is, the oak is not just a tree but the plant where the photosynthesis and other activities are going on. As for the same oak, the poets or students after studying literature may see the oak as a vivid symbol of nature and prefer to write a beautiful poem and other works. It is still possible that the painters or students after learning fine arts treat the oak as a lively impression in their pictures, which may not like the oak itself, but like one of a colorful nature's image. In this sense, the study of an academic discipline can obviously alter the way we perceive the world.
Furthermore, we can also find the hidden meanings of the speaker's assertion, that is why we see the same world as before, but with different eyes after we study the academic discipline, and what is the purpose of higher education--study of academic disciplines. When confronted with such questions, we may be bogged down into a deep thinking. As a matter of fact, the purpose of seeking for higher education and studying disciplines is to catch up with the trend of specialization of the whole world. Since after the invention of steam machines, we were going into a industrialized world and the trend of specialization is more and more apparent. If we still see the same world with the same eyes, how can we make progress in not only science and technology? For example, after Einstein had studied the physics and more specific knowledge about atoms, however he still saw the world just like the ordinary people without forming his own thinking styles, maybe nowadays there is no significant theory of relatives. In addition, the trend of specialization also require students to see the same things from their different and specific angles, otherwise they may not be competent for their future job and be excluded in the fierce competition.
In sum, the study of academic disciplines do not alter the world itself, but alter the way we see the world, which can make progress of our society and catch up with the steps of specialization of the world.
