提纲：1images形象富有感染力。
      2images传达idea or value不准确，不同的人有不同的理解。
      3最好时把二者接合起来，扬长避短。
Whether images are the most effective way to communicate an idea or value to lots of people as this statement suggests, in my view, is a complex issue.

Firstly, it is unquestionable that image turns out to be an effective way to communicate idea or value. Image as a vivid media can bring along forceful shock, which is irreplaceable. Image can mirror reality as it is, which can help to bring about sympathetic response. For instance, the Statute of Liberty which erects in New York is a rebel image who shakes off shackles and marches on. The goddess holds high a torch which symbolizes freedom, with a raised right foot for the road-like, while broken chain scatters on her feet. The goddess is dignified and distinguished-looking, looks steely resolve and gives the feeling of awe-inspiring inviolability. The Statue of Liberty bestows valor for the American to fight for freedom which language can hardly supply.


However, image is not definite, so different people with diverse knowledge, specific world view, different experience often understand the theme of image in different ways just as the old saying goes that there are 1000 Hamlet in the eyes of 1000 individuals. For example, the image of a single lion contains various themes in different people. A politician may consider it as an ambitious leader, while a lovelorn guy may consider it as a lonely bachelor. On the contrary, language is definite, so it is difficult to create various interpretations.

Maybe the best way in communicating idea or value to a lot of people is to combine image and language, through which we can make full use of their strong point and circulate their weak point. We can illustrate language to enhance its infectivity, while we can use language to lead readers to expectant understanding. For example, ancient China created splendid art including numerous famous paints. Chinese painters have a good tradition to compose a poem for their paint. The poem help to express painters’ idea or value, what’s more, themselves are excellent, so they improve the paint.

To sum up, neither image nor language is the best method communicating idea or value, they both has positive nature and passive nature. The best of this issue lies in combining these teo media so as to communicating idea or value exactly and forcefully..

There are kinds of dedias（这个词没查到是什么意思，是不是记错了？） that serve to communicate idea or value, such as images and language. Which is the most effective one, in my oppinion, it depends.

Firstly, it is unquestionable that image turns to be an effective way to communicate idea or value. Image as a vivid media can bring along forceful shock, which is irreplaceable.（我想这里你想说image不可替代，但是从句子结构来看变成shock是irreplaceable,我建议把语句顺序调换一下）这句话解释了image有效的原因，但是可能在说明上力度略显不足 Either sculptures or paint（paintings） contain abundant color and figure, which can help to bring about sympathetic rsponse . For instance, the Statute of Liberty which erects in New York is a rebel image who shakes off shackles（shackles off, better?） and marches on. The girl(woman?) holds high a torch which symbolizes freedom, with a raised right foot for the road-like, while broken chain scatters on her feet. The goddess is dignified and distinguished-looking looks steely resolve and gives the feeling of awe-inspiring inviolability. The Statue of Liberty bestows valor for the American to fight for freedom. 在举例之后应该还需要一两句话给这段结个尾吧。

However, an inherent passive nature makes image often can not serve as a effective way to communicate an idea or value to large quantities of people. Image often turns out to be abstractive, so not everyone can comprehend the theme involved in image. Picaso composed a famous paint named, which is so abstractive that most people can not understand the theme.(如此attractive而无法理解？好像没有必然的逻辑关系吧？）Besides, image a of history rather than the whole procedures, moreover, it can not the cluse of the history,（这句话改一下） so the procecutors(这个词不太对，正确拼法是prosecutors,但即使如此，意思也不太对，再查一下) who are not familar with that history often feel confused. In that case, image can not communicate idea or value to a quantity of people.

Last but not the least, image is not definate(definite), so different people with diverse aknowledge, specific view about world, different experience often understand the theme of image in different ways just as the old saying goed（went） that there are 1000 in the eyes of 1000 individuals. On the contrary, language is definate, so it is diicult to creat .(这个意思明白了，但是difficult to misunderstand，better?)
这一段不够充实，只有分析没有例证，而且分析也不够彻底，显得比较薄弱，建议再充实一下。另外，我认为这一段的观点和上一段其实挺类似的。明确与否和是否有不同的理解好像差不多，没有必要分开来吧？

to sum up, whether image is most effective to communicate idea or value to myriad people or language depends. The best of this issue lies in the two dedia.
