TOPIC: ISSUE196 - "Technology creates more problems than it solves, and may threaten or damage the quality of life."
  If do a survey about that if technology improve our lives, I think most of people will come to accord that is technology make our society better. Aim at this issue, it just want to express that technology is not good thing even harmful for us. However as most of average people, I will say that technology gifts us more.
  From past to now, history facts tell us technology always propel our society progress forward. Society of classes, of slave and slave owner, of peasant and land owner, of worker and capitalist, we step to new phase one by one because of technology. Even to say that technology create whole human's material culture. Deng xiaoping, Chinese great leader, had said that " Technology is the first productivity." It is really true. No one can deny our wealth is created by technology. Kinds of stone tools let mankind hunt prey at ancient time, tech of irrigation let people had stable agriculture, great steam engine make us step into industry age, computer and internet lead us into colorful info age. When we create and accumulate material treasure through tech, it is also coloring our lives.
At one time, while our material culture is developing forward constantly, our spiritual culture also goes forward steadily.
  This seems to be a natural logical relationship, satisfaction in material is bound to bring pursuit of arts. Tech let people have capital to relax and enjoy leisure after full in food and wine. And tech inject more new elements to arts. For example music, at old time music instruments were very rare, only harp etc. However with the advance of tech, music instruments became more and more colorful. Piano was improved due to metal craft's development; Family of guitar appeared new member ---- electrical guitar thanks to electrical tech's appearance; And microphone, tech of computer amending for voice... All of those should ascribe to tech. It seems tech bring a nearly perfect world, we can never live without tech, nevertheless like everything, tech is a double-edged sword too.
  Pollution must be the first thing we can think of about tech's bad aspect, and it is true indeed. Air pollution, land pollution, resource pollution etc. are threatening our subsistence. For this sake, a lot of people and group advocate we should limit even end tech's development. Of course, most people will give them a mild smile rather than will not pay attention to it. Because we understand that real sword is not tech but human themselves. Tech that just is a tool we use can benefit us, for we use it to benefit us, while tech itself never does some bad things for us. Therefore, for tech, what we do is never that we limit or final it, its influence is good or not rely on how we use it.
  Cite one famous scientist's words, " Earth is the gift god give mankind, technology is the gift we give earth."
