Please Help SAVE my Lovely Sister from Blood Cancer!!!!Please !!!
Please Help SAVE my Lovely Sister from Blood Cancer!!!!Please !!!
Now it’s 02:18 in the morming, but I could not sleep at all!!! I
won’t be able to sleep in the following weeks. But I still have exams
on Friday!! What should I do? I really don’t know!!
I only heard of Blood Cancer on TV before, but when it really came to
reality, I was shocked to death, not being able to speak for hours.
I was happy early today, studying in the library for the coming exams
as usual. But when I came home and called my Mum, everything
changed!!!
At first ,my Mum sounded OK, but I found her unusual as our
conversation went on. At last , she cried out. I know sth had
happened; and it’s sth relly big .
My mum’s crying terified me for I never heard my mum cry. After a few
minutes, my Mum began to tell me the truth. I was trambling and
crying like mad. But no one can help us.
My only little sister is 18 years old now, she is cute, beautiful,
diligent, generous, kind, nice, love-hearted, naive and happy.
But recently she wasn’t acting normally and fainted a lot times;
sometimes she even throw out some blood from her mouth. My dad And mum
was terified when she became more and more unusual……until one day
they took her to the hospital in the city….just to find her
infected with blooooood Cancer!!!!
What should we do? What should we do?/???????
My family is very poor and all our relatives are very poor ,too.
The doctors said that my sister need to be cured as soon as possible,
or there will be no chance for her!!!
My sisiter is only 18!!! I am 21now, I hope it’s me , not her!!!I am
a man now, But she is only a little girl!!!
She MUST Live!!! I will try everything to save her!!
I wanted to go back home right now, but my Mum did not agree.
I felt fire burning in my heart….. I am so useless !!!
What should I do?
After 2 hours crying and thingking, I decided to be brave for my
family, for my only sister!!!
My mum said we will leave her alone because we have no money at all!!!
No Money at all!!!
Money, I hate Money!!!
Why? Why?
I asked my MUm how much money would it cost.
My mum’s answer shocked my heart!!………….
She said the doctor said at least 400,000RMB!!!!!!!
I was hopeless.
I would stop my school to work right away, but I cannot make that
much money for my entire life!!!!
Mum, we must save Her!!!
I am still trambling now, not knowing what to say.
Mum, my sister will recover, please !!
At last , I recalled that we Chinese are all kind-hearted and are
willing to help those who need HELP.
Saving a life is the most honorable thing to do……..
I cannot recall the sayings, But it’s sth like this, Saving a life is
far better than constructing 7-floor tower!!!!!
Please , all my friends, at least we are all humans, we cannot just
see a life die away….
I don’t know how to express my feelings now, but I have only one aim,
that is , to save my sister!!! No matter what the cost is.
Please help save my sister, Maybe you just need go to KFC once less,
maybe you just need waste less money on …..
I don’t know, but your small money is very big for us!!!
My sister is innocent!!! She needs us!!!
I will eat less and save my little money and send it all back to my
mum.400, 000 , for the first time, I felt helpless in life.
It ’s such a big number!!!
What should I do?
Please help me if you can, in any way.
I am willing to do anything for you, Please, please don’t let my mum
cry !!!I beg everyone!!!!
Please forward my beg to anyone you think that might help.
Please……I really thank you ….
Please, please………
Please HELP us!!!!!!!!!
I have $12now, I will save it until I got enough money for my
sister!!! I will do anything to save my sister!!!!!
Life is so weak, I just know it………
Please, reach out your hands to my sister!!!!!!!
I only have a checking account in Chevy Chase Bank, the account
number is 1373201631
If you are kind enough to save my sister, Please , please ……
I really regret I am not able to earn money now!!!!
I will pay you back 10 times if I have money …..
I will do everything!!!
Please , please
I beg you!!!!
Thanks a lot for the advice.
I have identified myself:
Yong Xu
UID 109275934
Baltimore Ave
College Park MD 20740
Now the situation is not under my control.
I called my parents, trying to persuade them into taking her to a
good hospital; but they said they could not.
They did take her to some hospital, including the one in which she
was first taken to, all of them refused to take her, saying that if
she wants to stay in the hospital, we must give them certain amount
of money first!!!!
Or, they won’t care!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So my parents had no way but keep her home.
They must be desparate now.
I am not.
I said I would save her, but my parents told me to stay away from
this;they wanna me concentrate on my STUDY.
How could I do this?
What’s the meaning of study??????
I had a big arguement with them; at last they became angry and cut
off the phone cord just to avoid any calls from me!!!!
I understand them , but they did not understand me!!!!!
I will go back .People are helping me get a ticket.
I must go back!!!!!!!!
No matter what happens, I must try my BEST to save her.
What is LOVE?
Love is struggling.
How could I be calm while my sister is there waiting
for …………..
I must do anything I could, while I still can.
If anybody is willing to help me some with my tickets, I say, thanks .
What else can I do?
I will have everything needed for the confirmation, but now I have no
way to get them for they don’t even exist yet.
I will make them happen!!!!!
Please just give a little mercy, just a little.
The first thing is to go home, the second is to try to get her into a
good hospital, the third is to get all the information needed and try
seek help.
Is it a good plan?
Please give me some thought.
Please.

Dear All,
I am writing, on behalf of CSSA, to update you on Xu Yong ( 徐永)’s case and
CSSA’s efforts on this.
At the request of Xu Yong, CSSA staff had a meeting with him on Monday, Marc
h 12 at the Stamp Student Union. It turned out to be a hard communication du
e to his unwillingness to talk. As such, the information we received was ver
y limited.
One thing to point out is that during the whole meeting, Xu Yong did not say
any single word. All the information we got was based on his handwriting on
a piece of paper and by either nodding or shaking his head when asked by th
e CSSA staff.
Some basic facts have been confirmed. Xu Yong came from SICHUAN University (
四川大学) as an exchange student in fall 2006 and was supposed to finish hi
s study in the Univ. of Maryland within one year and return to China. Docume
nts that he showed to us included J-1 SEVIS form, UID, Passport and Visa.
Some information about his sister and family was given. His sister, named 徐
18 years old, is currently studying at 江苏省丰县梁寨中学. His parents
And his home address is
Other information obtained from the ”conversation” includes:
1. He has already collected enough money to pay his air ticket back to Ch
ina and planed to leave the US by the end of this week. But the ticket has n
ot been bought yet.
2. He does not know the content of his story covered by Monday’s Diamondb
ack newspaper ( http://media.www.diamondbackonline.com/media/storage/paper87
3/news/2007/03/12/News/A.Friend.In.Need.A.Friend.Indeed-2772162.shtml ). He
claimed that he did not even read the news yet and all the words published a
ctually came from his roommate ”Jay”.
3. He refused our suggestion about seeking help through local government
and media in his hometown. The reason he gave us was that he does ”not want
his family to be disturbed”. Among all the suggestions we made he preferred
not to expose his case to any Chinese media, Chinese Embassy or local govern
ment. He insisted that the attempt should be made first in the Univ. of Mary
land and Chinese community in this area.
4. He claimed that he had asked someone to pick up the proof of his siste
r’s leukemia. But he did not get it yet.
5. He does not have any communication with his family at the moment becau
se the phone has been cut off by his parents.
6. Regarding his financial support when he applied for a Visa to the US,
he claimed that he personally did not have any proof of financial support fo
r his study from his family, and all the document was provided (or made up)
by Sichuan Univ.
CSSA staff has also contacted the Sichuan University. We were told that all
the exchange students had to show enough financial support before they came
to the US. Xu Yong’s case seems odd to them and they will investigate it and
get back to us soon.
CSSA regards Xu Yong’s case high priority. We do care and do love our fellow
Chinese students and scholars, but before rushing into any conclusion, some
important points need to be confirmed, including Xu Yong’s family financial
situation and his sister’s illness. CSSA is working closely with the Sichua
n University and other agencies to find a best solution possible. We will ke
ep you updated on this case. We sincerely welcome any constructive suggestio
ns to either Xu Yong’s case or CSSA’s work as a whole. However, any irrespon
sible comments or malevolent attacks on either this case or CSSA organizatio
n will bring no benefit to our community except to damage the solidarity and
friendship we always cherish.
Thanks!
