    Generally, I agree this comment. It is what we pursuit, which we can enjoy our lives for leisure time. While technological advancement indeed increase our work efficiency in order to satisfy our wish.
    Technological advancement bring us all-directed convenience, which is our the most obvious feeling. Facts of history prove this point that technological advancement lead us going to next bran-new age one by one. From stone tools in ancient time to PC now, at the same time when technology develop forward, it also create more and more leisure environment constantly for us. And we feel deeply we need not to cultivate crops by ourselves while only know how to control the high-tech agriculture machine, need not to ride a horse for a long journey to send a brief letter while only press several buttons on phone or keyboard, need not to wait for some day and walk for a long distance to buy some accommodates while only need to lie on the sofa waiting others send them to our house...
    Here, we certainly think the prime aim to develop technology is give ourselves more leisure time. To some degree, it is really true. Firstly let us talk about the original reason of we advancing technology.
   In my view of point, the real fake we continually pursue technological achievement is that people try their best to let ourselves to earn a more comfortable life. For example, In old days, people collected fruits with firm rind, at the first, they could not do anything but discarded them, but people used grinded stone to handle this rind, and finally they tasted those palatable fruits. That is to say, our technology is put forward due to human beings' natural desire to leisure life. As our ancestors stone tools could let them need not to collect more fruits for they preserved those fruits with hard rind so that they saves much time. Steamer, electric light, internet, TV etc, all of these products of technological advancement aim at one goal of increasing people's
efficiency in order to enjoy happy leisure time. Maybe, we should change this issue " The primary goal of technological advancement should be to increase people's efficiency so that everyone has more leisure time." to that the desire
for more leisure time propels technological advancement.
   However, things are always very complex, we can not come to a conclusion arbitrarily, so dose this issue.
   As I said above, the desire to enjoy our lives for leisure time can indeed drive us to advance our technology, but the goals of technology advancement are never only for leisure time. Even if prime goal, it depends on different people. Most scientists spend almost all their time on some research largely due to addict to them, and for those great people, leisure time even is a extravagant thing. Another instance, Youtube's founder writes on his autobiography, " Youtube just is a product that me and several friends wanted to see VCRs about our lives. " Apparently, we should present a certainty what is primary goal of the technological advancement.
   Finally, I still say this the desire to enjoy our lives for leisure time can indeed drive us to advance our technology, but the goals of technology advancement are never only for leisure time.
