Is it true that self-knowledge is the most elusive knowledge and is usually acquired through
solitude rather than through interaction with others? I concede that self-comprehension or
otherwise self-knowledge is hard to achieve. However, interaction is as effective as solitude in
acquiring it.

When comes to self-knowledge, it contains who you are, what you think about subjects in the word
and that kind of person you intend to be. It is difficult to achieve in several aspects. First,
everybody living in the world is affected by the society and people around. It is hard to
distinguish which decision is made really by oneself and which mind is in one's head just because
everybody else is thinking in that way. For example, a person purchasing a clothes can't tell
apart how much in the decision is his real intend while how much is because of the advisement and
the advisement of the salesgirl. Secondly, as a living life, human's characters and minds are
changing all the time. At an early age, infants only care hunger and comfort of their own. As
growing up, person's horizon widen,  he/she begin to consider more outside oneself and is not the
one only know about eating and sleeping. What is more, information and new technologies which
change our lives everyday also change the way person consider oneself .Medias like computer and
TV impacting us with news all around the word extend our scope and increase our desire. New
medicine prolongs human's lifetime, leaving new thought about the meaning of life. People have to
alter to comprehend oneself all the time with these new changes. Self-knowledge is so complex and
changeful that it is a elusive process to acquire it.

Since self-knowledge is difficult to achieve, an important way to acquire it is to discover by
the person who know it best-ourselves. We are living in the world with ourselves since we are
given birth. We are the only one who know everything happened on ourselves and what the real mind
is under the surface. Others even the parents or the best friends can just know one's action and
speech to guess the real thought. Meditation can take a talk to the spirit and is indispensable
to a person intending to know himself/herself better. As a famous old Chinese proverb says: "One
should introspect three times everyday." That reflects the importance of solitude in self-
knowledge. Solitude can help us know better about ourselves.

Although solitude is important for self-knowledge, it can't work without interaction with others.
As mentioned above, everyone is living under affection by the environment and other people, how
could one know himself/herself in short of understanding the conditional affection? We interact
with others so we find what is the character of human beings and what is our unique characters.
We also find our own advantages and disadvantages on someone else's body so that we can consider
them in a new sight. There is also an old Chinese proverb: "Taking other people as mirror, you
can see yourself clearer." That means from interaction with others, one can comprehend oneself
better.

To sum up, self-knowledge is really elusive knowledge because it is changeful and is always
combined with condition affection. It is through the collaboration between the interaction with
others and the self-perception that lead to a positive and accurate self-knowledge.

I concede that self-comprehension( 这里就不用用词多样了，sk是定义明确的哲学术语，不可混淆) or in other words, self-knowledge hard to achieve. However, interaction is as effevtive( effective) as solitude in acquiring it.

When comes to self-knoeledge( typo), it contains (concepts like) who you are, what you think about subjects in the word ( subjective world?) and that( what) kind of person you intend to be. It is difficult to achieve(achieve是到达 gain, obtain, acquire, learn) in several aspects( for several reasons). Firstly, everybody living in the world is affected by the society and people aroud( around). (Thus,) It is hard to distinguish which decision is made really by oneself and which mind is in one's head just because everybody else is thinking in that way.( 可不可以这样表达，seldom can an individual be sure that his decision is made by his own without someone-else’s unconsciously influence.) To sum up, selknowledge（typo） is really elusive knowledge不要 because it is changeable（renewable, renewal, dynamic） and is always combined with condition affection. Both solitude and interaction is(are) necessary to complete it.( to wholly obtain it )
