TOPIC: ISSUE120 - "So much is new and complex today that looking back for an understanding of the past provides little guidance for living in the present."

提纲:
不同意作者观点,过去对现在有指导意义。
一;过去的历史可以指导我们怎么处理国家之间的关系。
二:过去的历史可以告诉我们要真确的看待科学的发展中的问题。
三:不可否认,现在于过去不同所以不能照搬过去的做法。

As the technology is well developed, today is more new and complex than ever, so some people think we can not get any guidance from the past. As far as I am concerned, I think looking back for an understanding of the past is very helpful for today.

To begin with, the past provides guidance to how to deal with the relationship between different countries. In most cases, the confliction between countries is due to misunderstand, distrust, and scare, which can be prevented by more communications. In cold war period, both the United states and the Soviet Union take an hostile attitude to each and campaign the weapon competition, because each one is afraid of the other will burst out a sudden attack, which origin their misunderstand and distrust. At last the Soviet Union   collapse and be divided to several countries, while the United States waste lots of money and time in developing the weapon. Actually, the Soviet Union and the United States can be well with each other peacefully like the Russian and the United States today. Today a few people, who don't familiar with China, consider China is the biggest enemy to U.S.A. I do think this attitude is due to their misunderstands to China. Actually China cooperates well with American in many fields such as anti-terrorism and gene project and so on. Taiwan problem is a sensitive problem between China and American, I do think the communication and negotiation is the best method, and any confliction is destructive, which we can imagine from the North Korea War in 1950s. So the past can makes guidance to how to deal with the relationship between countries.

Secondly, the past tell us the path of sciences development is zigzag, so we should take a wide mind to the science development. Any suppress and prejudices are unreasonable, and there are many such examples in history. In a long time people have asked himself what the light is composed, Newton, one of the greatest physicist, tell people the light is composed of small particles. When Thomas.Y claims that the light is one kind of electric wave, nobody believes him because Newton is so great and famous. After the Thomas.Y's famous experiment, the light scatter experience, people begin to adapt his theory. Then the wave theory of light reached its climax in Maxwell’s time, and people have negative and desert the Newton's particle theory of light. In 20th century, De.Broglie points out that the light is also particle. Today scientists believe that the light is both wave and particle. From this example we can see that the science is developing the ultimate truth and we should take a wide open mind to it.

Admittedly, today is different from the past, so we should not automatically follows the past in some areas. In past China, when the technology is undeveloped, people thought the more people are, the easy the work is to do. But today the situation is different, the population is over explosive and the technology is the first productivity So today China government begin to control the born rate.

In conclusion, though today is so different from the past, we can still get guidance from the past.

the study of history has value only to the extent that it is relevant to our daily lives.
我觉得论证的角度基本差不多,所以可以作为参照

另外觉得开始的两点有点片面撒。文章的ts抽象些,能涵盖的范围大些会比较好吧
然后下面的论据是支持ts的,倒可以举例什么的
一;过去的历史可以指导我们怎么处理国家之间的关系。
二:过去的历史可以告诉我们要真确的看待科学的发展中的问题。
