很多广告的目的是要消费者去购买一件产品以使得消费者们“像”广告中的人物。这类的广告很有效因为它不仅是在销售产品更是在帮助人们自我感觉更好。

In nowadays , people always make decision on their prefered product based on the advertisements which they believe and feel good at . Just as what the auther think , if a advertisement make a success on depicting a nice figure , it will push the commerce very well . Generally , I agree that it is very important to make consumer feel themselves like the person in advertisement .
If we have a look at advertisements on tv show, newspapers and internert , it is easy to find that most of them are trying to selling one specific lifestyle of ideal living utopia rather than only introducing some kind of productions. As we know , the challenge in the commerce field is becoming more and more drastic, the idea of utilizing ad. to promote one kind of produce is a little sterotype out of date because even the most advanced product will be replaced by others soon in such a world which keep developing in a unbeliveable speed, and the consumers are very difficult to keep patience on some specfic product because they receive amazing information about all kinds of product through media. In such a situation , some smart business men have make a change on the original way to do ad, they give up the idea that ad. just try to introduce the characters of product and turn the ad. into a powerful media to introduce some kind of dream lifestyles in consumers' mind. and the persons in ad. will play important roles, people can understand the lifestyle easily and always have some kind of illusion that they are the persons in ad. By last 20 years , the effience of this kind of ad. have been proved a huge success. Take a few examples, The ad. of cococola always show a picture to consumers like this: a few young and fashional boys and girls have a funny party to together , they dancing in the romantic seaside , or in fashinal halls , of course , everyone is enjoying a bottle of cocacola. In such kind of ad. , there are few words or pictures on the specific characters of the product such as taste, color, smell etc , but consumer can accept the lifestyle through a vivid and impressive show about the lifestyle and feel themsevels are part of the party , as a result , Cococola has become one of most successful brand in last 20 years. another outstanding example is the ad. of Nike, there is a famous slogan in the ad. of NIke: Just do it , the picture of ad, always include some young people who unbear the hardest parctice and training until they get the champions finally, when consumers especially young people see that , they always been encouraged by the spirit of person in ad. and feel the ad. is telling the story of themselves, undoubtedly , they always become faithful consumers of Nike.
But we know every coin has two sides, the shortcomings of this kind ad. has been questioned by many people, after all, the quality of products are critical factor for the long success of every commerical brand. the success of ad. will become true until the goods have good quality. Take a example, Sony is a very famous brand and very good at use ad. to push their market development , but once their mobile pc had dangerous problem, the consumers say "no" to Sony even though they all appreciate the persons in Sony's ad. Some companies do not want to keep high quality of products but just want to use faithless ad. to cheat people will be deserted by the market , even though how successful they provide ideal person in ad.
In sum , it is really efficient way to make ad which let consumer feel they are the person in it , but we should not forget that even the most smart ad can not neglect the importance of good quality.
