1 保持荒芜地区原始状态可以保护生态平衡
2 保持荒芜地区原始状态关系到我们的生存
3 政府有责任和能力来做这件事
4 当然,有的荒芜地方需要控制

I generally agree with the assertion that publicly owned wilderness areas should be preserved in their natural state by government, even though those areas are remote and would be accessed by few people. Yet, in my observation, some special wilderness area, like desert, should be under control of government.

First of all, it is necessary to preserve the wilderness areas in their natural state to keep the balance of ecosystem. Because the wilderness areas are always habitat of wild animals of which some may be rare species. If the state of the wilderness areas had changed leading to dying out of some kind of plant, the animals which take that plant as food would starve to death and the animals which depend on those starving animals would also die because of lacking food. So, many species would extinguish and the ecosystem balance in the wilderness areas would be broken and this would have bad impact on the ecological balance of the whole world, including the areas where we live. For sake of the wild animals and ourselves, we should protect the wilderness areas to be not changed.

Not only the ecological balance needs us to keep the wilderness areas in its natural state, but our survival requires us to do so. An example that illustrates this point of view involves the Antarctic. In the past years, there have been more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and the temperature in Antarctic increased leading to the acceleration of icebergs thawing out. If the icebergs keep thawing out faster and faster, the sea level would rise rapidly which would result in that some places where people are living are flooded by seawater. Even though the Antarctic is extremely remote and there are few people access it, the change of it have vital impact on our lives. To keep our land not be submerging by the sea, we have to keep the Antarctic in its original state and for sake of our living, it is necessary to keep the remote wilderness areas in their original state.

Now that the wilderness areas require to be preserved in their natural state, who should take this task?(word说这句语法有错,怎么改?) In my observation, it is the government that has the obligation and capability to complete this work. On the one hand, the government has to serve to the public and work for us. Preserving the wilderness areas in their natural state is significant to the public and the government has the accountability to do so. On the other hand, we hand in our tax to the government. Our money and power are assembled into the government. So, only the government has enough money and power to take such a huge task which needs many people to work together and even to promulgate laws to guarantee the implementation. So the government should be responsible to preserve the wilderness areas in their natural state.

Although most wilderness areas need to be kept in their natural state, some special areas should be under the control of the government to avoid the bad effect that they may bring about. A striking example of such areas is desert. As known to all, some deserts would destroy the areas around them and enlarge themselves with the help of wind. And sometimes, the desert can make damage to the big cities far from it. For example, in the past years, there are so-called 'sand storm' caused by the desert in Beijing and in spring, there is wind with sand in the city, which make people hard to breathe and dirty the road and buildings. The Chinese government has made effort to avoid the sand storm, for instance by planting a number of trees and so forth. Deserts have to be controlled to avoid the damage to the areas people lived. However, desert is just a special one of the wilderness areas, and most of them require to be preserved in their natural state by the effort of government.

In short, we should preserve the wilderness areas in their natural state to maintain the ecological balance and the survival of ourselves, and it is the government who can complete this great task. Yet, some wilderness areas, like desert, have to be controlled to restrict its bound.
