In this statement, the author advocates educators to place more emphasis to teach students to explore their own emotions rather than limits in cultivating students' capacity for reasoning and logical thinking. I agree the viewpoint.

In the first place, the ability to explore one’s own emotion is necessary to cultivate psychological health. Modern medical research indicates that people who can not explore his or her own emotions is much more likely to suffer from mental disease. This kind of people can not understand others, while they have no partner to express their thought. So they will inevitably feel lonely, what's more, once they suffer from some trouble, nobody will give a hand to them. That will make them live under persistent pressure, which will lead to metal disease. Besides, the metal disease will influence their physical health. In order to make students healthy both physically and psychologically, educators should immerse their effort in teaching students to explore their own emotion.

In the second place, commonsense informs that interest and enthusiasm play a significant role in science research. If children has no interest in their disciplines they will feel tedious, in that case, it is impossible  for them to learn those disciplines well. Madam Curie’s contribution is just the result of her strong interest in her research, otherwise she can not overcome so many troubles and succeed at last. Besides, science research relies on inspirations much, however inspiration often does not spring from reasoning and logical thinking but from irrational factors such as interest ,enthusiasm etc. Kecule researched the molecular formula of benzene for a long time, but did not succeed. One night he dream a snake bitted its tail, inspired by the dream he establish the regular-hexagon molecular formula of benzene. Without interest, enthusiasm and hard effort, it is impossible for him to achieve the inspiration.

Last but not the least, the  capacity for exploring one's own emotion is a necessary ability for people to achieve success in career. In modern society, if a individual want to succeed in career, he or she must cooperate with other well. He must share information and experience, achieve support and encouragement from others, which all need a deep emotion with his or her partners. Nobody would like to communicate with a cold-blood person. As for a leader, it is even more important. As the core of a team, a successful leader, individual must do well in uniting other members. He or she must know the need of underling, ready to help them at any time. When they suffer from some misfortune, he or she must console them. In that case, they would like communicate with him  or her, support him or her and make recommendation to him or her. For that matter, the leader can keep the team vital.

To sum up, the capacity play a significant role both to individuals’ success and the well-being of society. The mission of education is cultivate well-round people rather than cold-blood machine which can only reason and think logically. So educators should place more emphasis to teach students to explore their own emotion.
