Topic:  Reasons why people work other than earning a living

    Today, we could see lots of people go to work everyday. In the morning, lots of workers get on bus or train, and go to their offices. The main reason for people to work is they want to earn a living. They worked, got their salaries and then bought daily necessaries for their families. But is there any other reason for people to work? I think there are 3 reasons.
     
    The first one, people go to work because they want to make themselves more confidence. When they finished their jobs success and got paid, they felt their abilities were proved by their jobs. To those workers, their salaries stand for others' compliments. They could find their personal value lies in their works. They will be more confidence when they met other jobs in the future.
   
    The second reason for people to go to work is they want to have a healthier brain. Our science has proved that if one got nothing to do in a long time. Some functions of his/her brain will be degraded for a long time. In the worst case his/her brain even became smaller than it used to. All those things had bad effects to our daily life. He/she will suffer from bad memories, bad temper, or headache etc. Why the brain became smaller and degraded? That's because the person didn't work in a long time. When we work, our brains usually have lots of calculations to do. The more work our brains have to cope with; the more blood will be sent to our brains. Thus our brains will get more nutrients when they work than in their idle. Our brains will develop better and healthier.
   
    The last reason I want to mention is when people go to work, they could learn how to co-op with others. In today's society, it's vital to know how to cooperate with others. No one could achieve success all by himself. Without cooperation, we won't have railways, nylon, or other important inventions in the past. Not to mention a space shuttle. All these success are based on cooperation. Through work with colleagues, people will learn how to discuss and debate when people have different opinions. How to cope with different opinions and find a plan that everybody agree with. All those skills will let people become a good worker and a good member of our society. That's why people go to work besides earning a living.

Today(用nowadays能好一些), we could see lots of people go to work everyday. In the morning, lots of workers get on bus or train, and go to their offices.(*这句话写的似乎没有太大意义~) The main reason for people to work is they want to earn a living(我觉得用have to earn a living比较好). They worked, got their salaries and then bought daily necessaries for their families.(用现在时即可,这不是一个很自然的状态吗?) But(这个转折我觉得怪怪的) is there any other reason(*reasons) for people to work? I think there are 3 reasons(新东方的老师说最好用several这个词,万一到时候写的理由与这里的数字不符就废掉了).
  后面几段的时态有些乱，要多注意一下~还有怎么没有结尾段？
