Words: 655
From early in the morning, we choose the clothes we wear, we choose our meals for the day, we choose the proper sequence to finish our tasks during work, and we choose what to do for relax and when to go to bed. That is similar for almost every common individual in the society. So do we have circumstance with no choice? As far as I am concerned, it is quite common to meet situations with absence of choice, yet we can deal with such cases equally well.
Admittedly, with the development and wide spread usage of technologies, actually we are facing increasing choices in almost all aspects in our life. In the field of business, companies have plenty choices as their containers with emergences of innovative synthetic materials, customers have more than enough choices to choose desired products based on style, quality and prices. In the field of scientific studies, researchers can pick up either traditional or modern techniques to proof their hypothesis, depending on their financial situation and the requirement of the experiments. University students interested in particular area have freedom to choose any related course or do rotations in laboratories that attractive to them most. (这个感觉貌似和技术发展没关系啊,和学校政策到有关系) In one's private time, people have myriads of choices in their leisure times, such as traveling, having party with friends, or just relax at home. It is not exaggerate to say that with fast social and economic development, we even cannot tell which one is the most appropriate to us since there are so many options.
However, with undeniable heritage and implement of particular restrictions, sometimes we get trapped in the dilemma with no choices. When born with defects, one doesn't have a choice to have another life but to beat it by extraordinary exertion and diligence. Although restricted to only a few areas, they can still make contributions to the society. For examples, one doesn’t need to go further but the case of Helen Keller, a famous English writer. She was blind and deaf when born, however, she didn't give up her life but dig out her own talent in writing, leaving us plenty inspired products such as Light in My Darkness, encourage other people with handicaps fighting for their life. Similarly, in the business world, with limited financial support, companies may have to give up their original plan for certain products. In some extreme cases, big failure due to hasty investment may bring the company bankruptcy. Without doubt, under such circumstance, executive managers or employees have no other choices since at these times any make up is too late. There would be no denying that from time to time, we may face the situations with no choices.
Moreover, in cases related to political regulations or legislations, there are even more no-choice situations, keeping the equity and authority of the law. With diverse backgrounds and various evaluation standards, conflicts are inevitable in today's society, especially when there are increasing demand of freedom. Political regulation and legislation playa crucial role to provide social harmony and equity for individuals in the society. If any one inviolate the law, he or she has to take the punishment without any excuse. Otherwise, cheating would become popular in the business world, robbing would be normal and threatening our life, scientific study would bring no benefits or progress to the society by plagiarism, turning our society into mass. It is the exactly no-choice punishment of our legislation system gives our fundamental support for everyday activities and every individual equal right to enjoy our life. 其实也有得选么,只是人们选择了适应这个社会的……
呵呵,这种题目就是公说公有理型的,其实考试时候你写成这个样子没问题了,本来就不好写的一道题。
From the analysis above, it may safe for us to draw a conclusion that in reality, improvement of society provides us much more choices, providing us more diversity in our life. At the same time, there are plenty cases with no choices, which either require our endeavor to fight for living against stubborn facts, or providing us stable and harmonious society due to rigid but righteous regulations.
