1． 在我们日常的生活中，存在着很多选择。
我们可以自己决定许多事情：上什么样的大学，找什么样的工作，做一个怎样的人。
例子：从一个人的角度，可举一个艰苦奋斗，自学成才的例子：富兰克林(Benjamin Franklin )。
他到十岁时就离开了学校，回家帮父亲做蜡烛。富兰克林一生只在学校读了这两年书。
十二岁时，他到哥哥经营的小印刷所(printing workshop)当学徒，自此他当了近十年的印刷工人(printing workers)，但他的学习从未间断过
任费城(Philadelphia)副邮务长时(offcer of managing local mails)，他仍孜孜不倦地学习外国语.他广泛地接受了世界科学文化的先进成果。
为自己的科学研究奠定了坚实的基础。
富兰克不仅是一位优秀的科学家，而且还是一位杰出的社会活动家。他一生用了不少时间去从事社会活动  
《独立宣言》（The Declaration of Independence ）的起草(draft out)工作
2．但是，从某州角度说，在我们的生中，的确很多时候没有选择。
我们的出生决定了我们的父母，亲戚，一定时期的生活水平。
出生，上学，工作，结婚，死亡是一条对绝大数人来说没有选择的人生轨迹(Path of Life )。
3．大多时候我们认为没有选择其实是缺少理想的选择。
找不到工作其实是没有好工作，找不到配偶其实是没遇到理想的配偶
缺少理想的选择并不意味没有选择，有些现在看起来不理想的选择在将来看来就是十分明智的.

In the author's view, he asserts the fact that the absence of choice is a circumstance that
is very rare which equally means that we have a lot of choices in our lives. As soon as I am
concerned , I totally agree with author's view. It is true that there exist a lot of choices
around us, however, we sometimes have no choice but to do something that we are not willing to
do in some sense.
To begin with, we can really realize that many choices existing around us. From the moment that
we were born, we have to make a lot of choices in our daily lives. Many things such as the colleges
where we study, our occupation and what kind of people we want to be must be entirely determined by
our minds since all this foregoing things may have a crucial influence on our lives. The history
informs us that correct and wise choice render a people make great success.
Benjamin?Franklin , a famous scientist ,an eminent statesman and one of the persons who drafted out  
the Declaration of freedom, left school at his ten years old to help his father make candles in the
factories after only two valuable years in school. Though he worked as a printing worker in his brother
printing workshop for nearly ten years, he was always keen on learning knowledge. Even when he was
appointed as a officer of managing local mails in Philadelphia later, he still spent a lot of time on
studying foreign languages. His whole endeavor ensues his outstanding performance as an statesman and
scientist. As a matter of fact, Franklin might have other choices in face of his unfortunate childhood
just as the other workers who frequently went to bars and worked aimlessly everyday, let alone learning
scientific knowledge by themselves. Only through a series of intelligent choices, could Franklin become
one immortal person adorned by our populace.
On the order side, we sometimes really have no choice in respect of the life of path most people experienced.
The first cry after we were born, not only indicates that a new life breaks into the complex and magic world
but also confine us to certain field where our parents, relatives and living situations in a long time is
determined aforehand .The majority of us have a lot in common. Schools are the second family when we are young.
After graduating from college, a job must be the first thing we should take into account. Then we have to retire
from our workplace after many years to enjoy our lives. And the last step, which is exactly similar to everyone,
is the death. The path mentioned above render us have to admit ,to some extent, that the destiny of our lives is
prearranged that most of us can not avoid .So ,rare choices exist in our lives in some aspects.
Thirdly, the voice is familiar to us that we always have no choice which, in reality, does not mean we really
lack choices but ideal choices. Many graduates complain that they have no choice after a period of time of
struggling in the talent market since there are short of ideal jobs which can not only provide high salary but
also have a great opportunity to be promoted. Many youth disappoint with the fact that it is hard to have a
mate after matchmaking with more than ten youth for they always want to have a perfect mate who is rare in the
world. Even prisoners ,whose rights are so limited that they nearly have no choices in their lives ,still have
the basic choice to control their movement. Because of this, even though it seems that we have rare choice at
times, there still exist a lot of choices.
To sum up, I must admit that the absence of choice is a circumstance that is very rare. Because of this, only
through a series of  wise, correct and self-possessed choices, could we can attain our dreams by the tenuous
and unpredictable path to success.
