When it comes to issue whether it is a only effective way to save energy by increasing price of gasoline and electricity, different people may have various opinions. Some hold the opinion that increasing price is an effective method for a fast and convenient tactic, while others believe that there are many other channels to solve this problem. As far as I concerned, I agree with the latter one.

First and foremost, lack of energy is a global-problem which could not be solved by a simple method. With the development of science and technology, human beings have endured huge changed century. The rises of cites and population, migration from skirt to urban zone, flourish of manufacturing, development of industrialization all stimulate the shift to a high-consuming society. Since the increasing consuming of energy is a trend of global development which could not be prevented from enhance.

Secondly. there are a plenty of reasons which cause increasing of gasoline and electricity.

Human being enjoy convenient and comfortable modern life. Cheap transportation networks and cars make us easier to travel from one place to another, computers make us more convenient to gain information, washing-machine make us more comfortable to deal with life. However, all of these provide a better life to human being, it also causes many problems in daily life, the short of energy is one of these problems. Moreover, the problem of energy has became more and more server which governments should pay more attention to it. In sum, only one simple strategy could not solve this muti-causes problem.

Even though, encouraging energy conservation by increasing price is a effective way, the government would probably sink in this single and incomplete strategy. Considering various situation and environment, this is a integrated method. Some have enough financial income to support the increase of energy price which spend on private cars, while others would afford a huge burden due to this new method.

Lastly, the speaker believe that it is a only effective way to deal with this problem, now pay attention to, he emphasizes that it is the only way. Hardly are we convincing that there is only one way. It is said that , all roads lead to Rome. We could use other ways to solve this problem. For example, encouraging commutes, limiting private cars, inventing new energy, producing lower-energy products and so on. All in all, there are many effective methods to solve energy problem.

In sum, if all of these factors are contemplated, the disadvantage of increasing price of energy carries more weights. From what has been discussed above, we may finally draw the conclusion that disadvantages of increasing price are far more obvious. Consequently, I firmly believe this method will not dominate in solve energy problem in future.
