The word “scandal” is not strange to us, A great variety of scandals ,like politic scandal, academia scandal, business scandal and amusement scandal and so on, flooded the our live as the information industry developing.  It is seemed that if the news not adds “scandal” would not sale point. We make a reasonable thought, whether or not as the statement suggests that: scandals-whether in politics, academia, or other areas- can call our attention to important problems, just because the question ways and means different from the speaker or reformer. Consider some facts; I agree the statement suggest, scandals can be useful expose some facts that cannot be seen in other ways or not be our stressed or ignored. On the other hand, scandals can distract us from important issues and confused and overemphasize their fault instead of treating their contribution fairly, illusory scandals produce negative influence to demos.

First, the scandals expose some facts that cannot be seen in other ways for the speakers and reformers have to take responsibility for their public affairs. The appalling academia scandal at Korean-Woo Suk Hwang's cloning experiments. Bring threatens to undermine confidence in stem-cell research and cause turbulence of business. Early in that scandal it would have been tempting to dismiss it as involving one isolated incidence of fake. But, in retrospect the scandal forever increased the level of scrutiny and accountability to which our academia ethos are held, thereby working a significant and lasting benefit to our academia. Secondly, scandals can distract us from significant issues and confused and overemphasize their fault instead of treating their contribution fairly. Let me cite the news about the Clinton sex scandal. Every new development during the scandal becomes front-page news in almost every newspaper. Our eyes are attracted from the most pressing national and global problem, such as social-security, health-care reform, and Kosovo crisis. At the beginning diversified edition of sex scandal come forth, people confused, the Republic Party using scandals to attack the Democratic Party in order to win more voting paper. Clinton almost drops the reins of government .Overemphasize their fault cause potential danger being used by evil people or institution, and cannot objective evaluate their contribution, it is not fairly.  

Besides this, scandals tending to bring about the negative suggest of the society. Faith in the integrity of medium was being undermined. People can not facilely trust the media any more. Even if, it is true.  Who know that is not ones show? Media dig out certain “special” things by any kind of means, for increasing the newspaper’s sales volumn，TV audience rating and internet click rating. Hit the pipe, sex dealing, dirty Speculation, homoerotism, pedophilia, etc. An unscrupulous, vulgar social climber, for their purpose: fame and gain, hurt people's feelings, reputation by fabricate mendacious scandals. We best hold circumspect mind at this environment. Not to be puzzled by dirty Speculation, not cause harm to others, further more, not overemphasize their fault instead of treating their contribution fairly. Analyse things on case-by-case basis.

    To sum up, I agree that sandals often serve to flag important problems more effectively than any speaker or reformer can. However,Whether a scandal works more benefit than harm t must be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
