The passage and the lecture are not attached here ,and if you can not access to them , you may just check my mistakes in structures ,the content and the use of words and phrases .I really appreciate your help~~~~


The lecture concerns about the current need of workers .It is an obvious trend that their motivation for work has gone beyond the economical need . The reading passage also conveys similar point that workers concern more the social and personal features of the workplace than the traditional economic incentives such as pay and promotions.The lecturer uses some examples to illustrate that the workers are now care about the social and emotional needs , as well as the communication and productivity of the whole work group. That is to say, workers need to express their voices and make decisions and they require good communication between the group. Further more, they seek for the pride gained in the work . They look forward to satisfaction which includes reputation and respect , and communication which means they are well used. The passage reflects this view ,too.In the passage, it mentions that the most satisfying jobs are those with a high level of autonomy , where the employees can make their own decisions and work with  little supervision. Job autonomy often appears in the high-pay and high-prestige jobs , therefore the workers in the lower levels  are aware of it and start to  demand such a right.
However, the situation of the workers is not that satisfied because they are still angry about the management and feel that they can not make decision and can not voice their demands.Thereforre , the emploers should pay more attention on the control of the job autonomy and promote the satisfaction of the workers.
