112 "Some educational systems emphasize the development of students' capacity for reasoning and logical thinking, but students would benefit more from an education that also taught them to explore their own emotions."

issue:88"Technologies not only influence but actually determine social customs and ethics."
arg:161 In a study of reading habits of Leeville citizens conducted by the University of Leeville, most respondents said they preferred literary classics as reading material. However, a follow-up study conducted by the same researchers found that the type of book most frequently checked out of each of the public libraries in Leeville was the mystery novel. Therefore, it can be concluded that the respondents in the first study had misrepresented their reading habits.

10. The following appeared in a letter to the editor of a Batavia
newspaper.
"The department of agriculture in Batavia reports that the number of dairy
farms throughout the country is now 25 percent greater than it was 10
years ago. During this same time period, however, the price of milk at the
local Excello Food Market has increased from $1.50 to over $3.00 per
gallon. To prevent farmers from continuing to receive excessive profits on
an apparently increased supply of milk, the Batavia government should
begin to regulate retail milk prices. Such regulation is necessary to
ensure both lower prices and an adequate supply of milk for consumers."
