1.        同意,但不全是。大多数领域的进步都需要别的领域的支持,但不是所以的领域都是这样
2.        大多数领域的进展都需要外领域的知识和经验的支持。
几乎所以的领域都不是孤立存在的,都和其他领域有关系。就和世界上其他是事物一样,表明不同的事物都可能是有联系的,有些是直接的联系,有些是间接的联系。
   Admittedly, any subject should have its own distinct characteristics that separate it from other subjects. However, even the most seemingly absolutely irrelevant fields inevitably have necessary links, which indicates that our world as an integrity in which a diversity of fields are more or less, explicitly or implicitly dependent on each other
  
1>      某个领域的技术的发展需要以另一个领域的发展成果为前提,例子:Software的发展是以Computer hardware的发展和Network的发展为一定前提的,只有一些计算能力的计算机上才可以运行一定的软件。
2>      外领域可以Lend一个Similar solution used in their area while not used in current area, or thinking in another way or from another angle能帮助解决问题。
例子software industry learn from management and mathematics
In the 1970s, the software had begun to suffer from a severe predicament.
          业务分析员,系统分析师,程序设计员,测试人员,维护人员,管理人员的。

3>      One field can provide support to another one, abstract the common characters spark spirit from different field and apply it to the other field. It is best demonstrated in arts, where the most excellent is not excel at one single area. For example, Zheng Banqiao, a famous artist in Chinese history, a literature because he is good at poem, prose, also he is has lots of famous works paintings. And good at chess and music. He can find relation between these distinct fields, and to help him achieve success in nearly every field.
3.        It is especially true we come to the development of several area of the most recent quarter century,科技高度发达,各个学科交叉 interdiscipline联系越来越紧密,甚至产生了许多cross area research new research area derived from the initial one.
   Borrowing knowledge and experience from other fields of study has indeed triggered significant breakthrough in many subjects. Quite a few scientific subjects like biochemistry, economics, anthropology, psychologyastronomy, are undoubtedly the hybrids of subjects originally thought far distant from one another.
4.        但有些学科是和其他联系比较少,很难从其他领域得到启发。(没时间就不写了。)
   Though it is wise sometime to learn from other's experience and knowledge, this does not stand that it has necessity to import from outsiders in order to make great progress in one’s own field. On one aspect, juxtaposition in some certain fields is not feasible, for example the physics and math, they are quite difficult to mix with other sciences, because they themselves are completed system which are the basis of quite a lot other fields.

The author asserted that only by bringing knowledge and experience from the outside can a field make great improvement. I agree with the assertion learning from the outside or related principle present an effective way to advance in some area, and this becomes even true when it comes to the current world where the interaction and interdependence between different become so closely. However, it is a little hasty to generalize that all the study need to learn from the other fields in order to make progress.

Few will argue, learning from other fields has always been an effective way to advance in  certain fields, which has been demonstrated in both a nerrowvtive or an emperical standview. The phylosiphier told us all the things of the world are related--no matter they related directly or indirectly-- and thus interacted eacher. It is become even true with respect to study. In which most principle can be influence by the improvement of others, or influence the other subject by their own progress.

First, More ofen than not, the improvement of some field are depend on the new development of other field. That is only when there are the breakthroughs of other fields, can progress be made in these fields. The parodagmitical example is the support of computer hardware and Internet  for the development of software. With the problems are becoming even bigger and complex, it turn out to be oneious for the tradition software to sovle, though the methods they use are the most advanced one. The requirement of fast computing, large storege, distributed processing for the big problems, which are the characters of morden computing work, go beyond the ability of traditional hardware, thus calling for the development in hardware. The high-quality computing machine and worldwide network provide a way to these problems, the software, therefore made improvement.

Second, some fields can borrow ideas even spirits from other fields. Also let's turn back to computer software. In 1970, the software development suffer a big problem. When the profession transform from the traditional small cooperation or some small group to big work team, what is the effective way to guarantee the efficiecy and quality of projects had become a challange for most of workers and researcher in this areas. A subject, combined traditional management and process of software development, named software project was introduced, it define the differnt role of workers, include the anylist, designer, developer, tester and the like , in the team, thus bear different responsibilty respectively. This has greatly regulate the way of development and help enhance the efficiency and cooperation. Another typical example is an art in Chinese history, whose name is Zhang Banqiao. He was regard as a master in literature because he was good at poem and prose, also most people like call him the great painter because of his famous paintings. He once that he can always learn from different fields and found common points and help to apply these in all the fields he are interested in and made progress.

Nevertheness, not all the work need frequently communication with other field. In research areas, the math and some other principle which closely related to logic can hardly learn something from other fields, but they can provide support as a tool for the others. The works in this areas have to constrant their work within their fields.

In sum, interaction between different, which have helped developed several new subjects such as biophisics, psychology, anthropology and the like, are playing an even critical role in current reasearch works. In most areas, it is necessary  way to advance, even to achieve a tiny breakthrough.
