"My san spent too much time on computer games, which have greatly affected his study works", a mather in Xianyan, a city in Northwest of China, complait."What they do are far different from what we used do, and it is the fault of advance in technonology ." Many parents share the same idea with this mother, and the complaint of what the negative effect of technolgoy extend far beyond education, perhaps in every field, technolgoy becomes a target severely attacked. Does the threat or damage the technology brought to our life outweigh its merits as the author asserted? A dabate on this issue has fueled around the world. I'd like to  put good words for technology because the significance it brought to our life, though I admitted the its sideeffects which should attribute to the people who use the technolgoy rather than the technolgoy itself.

Admitted, the negative effects of technoglogy has been discovered in nearyly every area where it brought revolutionary advance. First, consider the industralization which technogloy was most sevely criticized. Global warming, the deplete ozone, indangered species, icide rain and the like, which threaten the very survivle of the creature in clude the human beings, was supposed to be the result of excessive industralization which was drived by the development of technolgoy. Second, the information technolgoy, which always been criticized by that they reduced the communication of people insulate the individule in a small world rather than some assemble with others as the people used to do. Third, the emerging technology, paradigmatic example is clone, which was labered as moraly and ethnicly wrong work, and challange the traditional morality.  Also, the criticizing voices from other fields can be heared everyday, such as unimployment, traffic problem, necluer weapons and so forth.

However, people, more often than not, tend to exaggrate the side-effect of one thing while ignore its great advantages they are enjoy. First, let's return to the field of industralization, the infliction on our life was cited above.  The people who blindly criticized the industralization  should reasonablely observe the great progress it brought to our life and our work. The efficiency was dramaticly imporved because of the invention of steammachione and the electricity latter, and the intelligente machined which emerged in the latest quarter century thanks to the development in computer science. It is hard to image what our world will look like without this machines. The majority citizen of the people may still suffer from hunger and clothes shortage. As for its negative effect, people has pay attention to it, and the cleaning fuel has been introduced to serve as a perfect substitute, which will reduce harm to the air, for the traditional fuel; The advance in technolgoy in turn was adopted in environmental protection. Second, the information technoglogy. It is unfair to criticize that it diminish the communication between people if we extend the communication from the traditional face-to-face conversation to general conversation. In contrast it enhance the conmunication by making possible the people of different part of the world can talk as they are talk face to face. And the clone technology, if regulated properly, can benefit human being greatly.

In sum, technoloy, which serve as a dual sword, bring great benefits to our life while impair our world to some degree, and as a tool, which rely on how we use it. Thus, it is not reasonable to blindly criticize that the technolgoy bring harm to our life, we can do something(没写完，很致命的)

"What they do is far different from what we used to do, and it is definitely the fault of advance in technology." Many parents share the same idea with this mother, and the complaint of what the negative effect of technology extend far beyond education, perhaps in every field, technology becomes a target severely attacked. Does the threat or damage the technology brought to our life outweigh its merits as the author asserted? A debate on this issue has fueled around the world. I'd like to put good words for technology because of the significance it brought to our life, though I admit its side-effects which should attribute to the people who use the technology rather than the technology itself.

And like to criticize these things rather than the people, who should take more responsibility for the eventual consequence and have shift the responsibility onto their tools, behind these things.

First, let's return to the field of industrialization. The people who blindly criticized the negative effect of industrialization should observe the great progress it brought to our life and our work, and analyze the effect-and-cause relationship between technology and these undesired results. The efficiency, few will refute, was dramatically improved because of the invention of steam machine and the electricity latter, and the intelligent machined which emerged in the latest quarter century thanks to the development in computer science. It is hard to image what our world will look like without these technologies. The majority citizen of the people may still suffer from hunger and clothes shortage. As for its negative effect, it is our human beings that use these technologies in an inappropriate way. We paid to more attention to our development while ignored the potential harm it inflict on our world. Fortunately, we realized this problem, and certain effective measures, which also need the assistance of technology, has been discussed. For example, the cleaning fuel, which will reduce harm to the air, has been introduced to serve as a perfect substitute for the traditional fuel; the advanced medical treatments have been taken for the animals which would be extinct if left unfettered; and in myriad other fields technology has play a pivotal role to enhance the development while reducing harmful effects on nature and on our life.  

Second, turn to the information technology. It is unfair to criticize that it diminishes the communication among people if we extend the communication from the traditional face-to-face conversation to general conversation. In contrast it enhances the communication by provide us a faster, cheaper and more convenient way than the traditional communication, thus makes people of different corners of the world know each other and have a conversation, which is far beyond the imagination of our predecessor.

Finally, when it comes to the controversial issue which derived from the advance of technology, the dual characters of technology is demonstrated even clear. Take clone for example, which has sparked a global wide debate. Generally it is considered not morally and ethically correct to clone humans, while it can also be used to make many aspects of our life better, including saving lives. The similar technology is nuclear power, which can be an effective and clearing power to improve our life and work while can also used to destroy the world we are living when made into nuclear weapon. Therefore, the issue is not the functions these functions provide, but in which ways we use it. it is necessary to weigh the benefits and consequence of these technologies and determine in which way it can be used to humanity’s best advantage.

In sum, technology, which serve as a dual sword, bring great benefits to our life while impair our world to some degree, which rely greatly on how we use it. Thus it is necessary for us to weigh the positive effects and negative effective of these technologies and determine in which way they can be used to humanity’s best advantage.
