Generally, Schools and the teachers are thought to be mainly responsible for the education by providing the professional education work. Nevertheless, more and more people begin to realize how important it is that the parents and communities take part in the education because certain inherent merits they hold compared with the traditional school education.

Admittedly, school education is generally considered as the idea and most effective way to learning. First, there are the most experienced and professional teachers who know how to teach the students in the appropiate way, and their profound knowledge backgroud can garantee the quality of education. Most famous professors in the world are serve as the teachers in the universities and colleges to instruct the students besides their research work. Second, the school has the best study atmosphere, which is critical for the students to seek progress. The competition among the students drive them to work hard while the cooperation help them to learn from others and do something in the teams. Third, the school can provide the most advanced professional education instument which serve as catalysts for the students to achive the best effective learning, especially for those subjects closely related to practice or experiments. In short, the merits of school make it the most idea place for learning.

Nevertheless, school shows its weakness in certain circumstance. Consider the non-intellegence education, especially the moral education. The teachers cannot make a comprehensive conversation with every students because there are so much students in the class. And also consider the education of elementary school. The teacher find he is hard to communicate with these students who are just 5 to 8 years old. Parents and communities can help the teachers ease these pressure to certain degree.

First, consider the role  of parens in children's education.  Few will argue, parents have always serve as a role model of their children, which make them the best teacher for the children, especially for the those before entering the elementary shool.  A survey conducated in Xi'an, a city in Northwest of China, shows that the students who receive family education before entering shool demonstrate better performance in the class than those who don't get these education, though this advantage just last for the first two semesters. Besides the intellegence education for their children, the parents play a even essential role in shap the characteristic of children by their instruct in daily life, and also by their model effect. Thus it will not be too hard to understand why the children of ethits are easier to be excellent as their parents while the children grow up in an unhealthy famaliy tends to make an undesireable consequence. Thus, the parents should try their best to bear their education responsibility in home to help their children develop well.

Second, community and society are playing a pivotal role in the children who are living as a member of thse community or society. This can also be demonsrated by a survey conducted recently, the community which have a better atmosphere can help improve the study of the children. The people living nearly 2000 years ago in China have know this influence well, a famous story about Mengzi can tell us this. The mother of Mengzi, changed this home for three times to seek an idea place for his son's learning. And Mengzi turn out to be one of the most famous thinker in Chinese history.

In sum, the parents and the community is of equal, if not more, importance for the education of children. Only by work side-by-side, can chieve the best effect.

First, by offer the children a safe and healthy atmosphere the community can help the children, who are too young to distinguish right from wrong, to keep far away from the negative influence in the society. The people living nearly 2400 years ago in China have known this influence well. A famous story in China about Mencius can demonstrate how important the growing environment to the children. Mencius(Originally Meng zi), a famous Confucius philosopher in Chinese history, lived in fourth century B.C. It is said that his mother changed home consecutive for three times just to seek an idea place to best benefit his study. And his eventual great success illustrated how wise his mother was. Second, community can provide the students a chance to practice what they have learned in the school, also present them opportunities to learn the society, which will significantly help the students improve their study and develop other useful skills and eventually help them achieve success when they begin their career. In short, the community and society, which serve as an environment where the students grow up like the earth for the small tree, exert a dramatic influence on the students.

In sum, the parents and the community should fully take part in the education of students because of several advantages they hold, which can hardly be found in school or provided by the professional educators. Only by working side-by-side, that is the school performs the majority education task and the parents provide assistance and feedback for the teachers mostly in the moral and other no-intelligence education, while community show their responsibility by offering an healthy environment, can the student make a fully and successful development.
