3 As the development of modern science and technology, some aspects of traditional culture are being lost, so some people think that the traditional culture and technology will be replaced by the modern science and technology such as computer or internet, what is your opinion?

Modernization has embarked on a remarkable transformation to our society over the past 100 years. Some people assert that modern science and technology will replace the traditional ones eventually. While I contend that modern and tradition are not so incompatible and exclusive that by choosing one, we must lose the other. In fact, in many cases, modern can and does embrace tradition.

First, most often, so-called modern science and technology is actually a development and amelioration of traditional technology, or a combination of two traditional technologies. For example, cell phone, which is the most popular communication equipment today, is a combination of the telephone and radio technology. Without the support from traditional technologies, many modern inventions are impossible to be carried out. So does the modern science, which is also deeply rooted in some classical theories and cognitions.

Second, I concede that some traditional cultures have been yielded entirely to the modern life, nevertheless, in most cases, they are just changing a bit to adopt the modern lifestyle. For instance, Chinese people used to make dumplings themselves in the Spring Festival. However, nowadays, they just buy the dumplings from the supermarkets and cook them. And yet, they still regard the Spring Festival as the most important festival and celebrate it in a way very close to what they do in the past.

To wrap up, modern science and technology is, by no means, rejecting the traditional ones. Instead, they are derived from tradition and thus, containing lots of elements from it. In fact, in our modern system of science and technology, tradition is embraced, not discarded.

我认为中间的body部分，只有一个论据，只是在传统和现代之间互换角色而已，但实质没有变化。楼主的语言工地还是挺好的，就是尽量避免，用词重复就好了

恩，因为题目说的是  traditional culture and technology~~~ 所以偶怕偶只说tech 会被认为回答不够完整|||  但是它对应traditional culture and technology的又是 modern science and tech，说明只需要讨论技术？... ~~~ 迷茫阿~~~~|||||
