在抉择专业,但是在COMPUTER SCIENCE和COMPUTER ENGINEERING之间犹豫?请问大家有什么建议吗?谢谢

How do they differ?

The two programs are indeed similar, in that students in both programs study essential topics in programming and software development. The fundamental difference between the two programs arises from the difference between science and engineering. The word "Science" means knowledge or learning. It ultimately derives from the Latin word meaning "to know." The word "Engineering" derives from the Latin word that means to contrive. Thus, the operational difference starts with the requirement that Computer Engineering students have a sound understanding of circuits, electronics, and VLSI design which are vital to the actual construction of modem computers, while Computer Science students study topics in algorithms, computability, and programming languages which form the foundations of advanced programming and knowing how to compute.

原来CE是做硬件的啊？那SE岂不是要归到CS一类？一直以为SE属于CE的啊:confused:

我也找了很久,问了很多人,才发现原来CE是偏硬的,SE偏软
然后开始挣扎读软还是硬

It depends on the program, which may differ from school to school. u can also concentrate more on software in CE but thats more like practical software or software aided hardware design
