Using high-level technology,professionals work closely with patients to diagnose and treat injury and disease. The graduate entry master’s programs provide graduates with the academic and clinical skills required togain entry into the three main professions of the medical radiation sciences. Graduates attain professional competencies in Diagnostic Radiography, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy.To practise in Australia all graduates must complete a 12-month intern period called a Professional Development Year. This may not be required in other countries.
