Education plays an extremely important place in the development of each individual 感觉有点重复. The instruction approaches accordingly becomes more and more critical. The issue of whether education is specifically designed to meet individual needs or generally for the whole students(needs) is a considerable problem. The statement above that education will be truly effective only when it is designed for individual needs and interests is too absolute. The advantages of specifically designation do exist, however, I am more inclined that education should combine the generality with specificity. First of all, interest is of much importance for education and it is very necessary for the schools to take the interests of students into consideration. An education system, when considering the special needs and interests, is capable to fully explore the potential and talent of each student. And this kind of education is highly effective. In such a circumstance, each student can choose their interested courses and has a larger passion and motivation to study.(再举个例子是不是会更有说服力) However, education that is only specifically designed for individual needs and interests is yet not reasonable. An excellent student should be a student with all good characters, such as learning talent, cooperation ability, interpersonal skills and so on. And many of these abilities are cultivated in teamworks(teamwork 不可数). Studying in groups can broaden horizon and benefit long term development. For instance, open-minded person can engage in all kinds of works more quickly and effectively. And many of the talents can be enhanced in activities. Therefore, general courses and activities in which all the students can participate is a necessity. Another problem rests on the limited educational resources with such a large population. On one hand, it is impossible for today’s education resources to design each specific system for each individual. On the other hand, today’s education resources is (are)able to meet some individuals of the students, and if some individuals are specifically satisfied, it is obviously an impedance to society’s justification. Furthermore, such specific designation will also result in uselessness of some education resources, which is detrimental to the education system.Even if (很欣赏这个转折!)there are abundant educational resources to meet each individual’s needs and interests, the students under such educational system will not develop comprehensively. It is opposite to the purpose of education. Highly emphasis on the students’ individual interests and carrying out education purely according to the interests of students is very likely to cultivate plenty of defective students. These defective students just have a narrow knowledge they are interested, and do not know other areas’ knowledge. This phenomenon causes great disadvantages to the whole society’s development and should be prevented. Yet, the students should not simply accept the general education. To boost the efficiency of education, the school should provide some optional curriculums for students with different interests to attend, whereas the compulsory courses are guaranteed first. Compulsory curriculums, which are fundamental courses, together with some other embranchment curriculums can meet different students’ interests and warrant the comprehensive and specific development. Consequently, after the above discussion and analysis, a successful education should be a one that is able to cultivate the students’ overall abilities and motivate their interests to the largest extent. Traditional education system plus some innovation that can take the consideration of individual student’s interests and needs is more reasonable and necessary.
