In the memorandum, the director recommends that they should not continue to hire the Good-Taste Company to supply the food for their employee. The reason of this recommendation is that the high and increasing price of the food and the compliment of three employees in the company. In additional, the director also suggests hiring another food company which is called Discount Foods for the varied kinds of food and wonderful taste, which will improve employee satisfaction.  At the first glance, it is a wise suggestion to better the situation on employee's food supple, but after a meticulous reflection, we will find several flaws in this memorandum.

In the first place, the director fails to offer substantial evidence to show that the compliment of the employees is about the high price and the shortage of special food. In the argument, we are only informed that the three employees no longer eat in the cafeteria for the 'unbearable' experience, but what make it unbearable is not mentioned. Maybe they are mad about the bad service or some other details, and maybe they have high level requirement and standard of the food which cannot be satisfied in the common cafeteria.


In the second place, even though the entire compliment is about the high price and the shortage of the special food, they still cannot represent the whole employees' opinions. The director overlooks the possibility that maybe other employees satisfy with the Good Taste and they are not willing to change the food company. Unless the director can provide enough evidence about other employees' opinions of ceasing hiring Good Taste Company, I cannot accept the recommendation.


In the third place, the sample lunch supplied by the Discount Foods is not representative either. The assumption relies on this weak evidence is not convincing. What about the breakfast and supper of this food company? What about the meals of other companies that Discount serves?  And what about the employees' views about the Discount? All the problems above should be clear and certain, or we cannot agree with the director's recommendation.

In sum, this memorandum is filled with some problematic flaws. To bolster the recommendation, the director should prove that major of the employees are dissatisfied with the Good Taste and its high price. In additional, the director should also offer more information about the rationalities to hire the Discount Food.

Maybe they are mad about the bad service or some other details最好不要列出这个可能性,因为如果餐厅的服务不好,那就有理由解除和约了,建议用“这些人本来就很挑剔/事事挑剔/无理取闹”,这样就不是餐厅的错,而是顾客的错,间接说明餐厅是没有问题的, and maybe they have high level requirement and standard of the food which cannot be satisfied in the common cafeteria.

All the problems above should be clear and certain, or we cannot agree with the director's recommendation.

全文整体不错,如果中间段落的展开更加充分一点就更好了
