issue51:Education will be truly effective only when it is specially designed to meet
the individual needs and interests of each student.
The speaker assert that a kind od efficient education is designed by the different
personalities and characteristics of students. I generally agree with the speaker's opinion
that if students take the education that is cater to their needs and interests, they will
be more positive in their study.
I think there are compelling reasons that could indicate such education would be effective.
The first one is that every one in the world is a unique one, just as an old saying goes:
You never find two pieces of leaf that are identical. So, every body should just be himself
or herself and do what one is in favor. You don't need to read what others are reading,
listen to what others are listening to. Maybe these things are not fit to you, what's worse, it
may produce unfavorable effects on you. So do what you like and what you fit to.
The second one is that various styles of education could provide abundent oppurtunities for
students to choose the courses that they are fond of. In ancient China, Kong Zi has already
found the importances of education that is cater to his different students. Each student has
his/her own life experience and world perspective. The best education isn't surely adaptable,
the one that fit to students and is popular among students is the best one.
The third one is that if education is designed in only one pattern, it may lose the main
and effiecent function. Just like what has been disccused in the first point, every one is
different from one another. So, not all of the students will have favorable attentions to
the similar or even completely indentical approaches of education. Naturely, students' interests
of studying can't be aroused properly. What is worse, it mayy lead to orgies of hatred to study.
And this is a bad situation that teachers and parents are not willing to take place.
Despite many advantages of this sort of education, it's not without its problems. Such as
teachers, facilities, text books etc. There is much more to be considered. Consequently, it
is not as easy and convinient as many people think.
One of the most difficult circumstances, in my opinion, is that it is a colossal and
complicated project, which need amount of funds, perfectable plans and sharply excellent teachers.
It is impossible to achieve the great programme if lack of any of these conditions. The last
but not the least, students' attitude also play a vital role in the project. All of the conditions
discussed above is inevitable.
In sum, I live under the idea that variable education approaches will exert favorable and
positive effects on various kinds of students. It is able to provide colorful experience and
give students what they really need and like. Therefore, everyone could maintain his/her
characteristics and be cultivated into different roles in the society, which could produce
advantages on social development.
