这篇Issue我写得非常不顺，有一会儿简直就是理屈词穷，什么东西都写不出来了，真郁闷……

TOPIC: ISSUE5 - "A nation should require all its students to study the same national curriculum until they enter college rather than allow schools in different parts of the nation to determine which academic courses to offer."

The speaker recommends that the students should study the same national curriculum rather than dissimilar courses determined separately by different parts of the nation until they enter college. However, as for me, the speaker over generalizes. I would content that the curriculum should consist of two major sections: the national core curriculum and the regional individual curriculum.

The primary reason why I tend to agree with the speaker that some certain national curriculum is necessary is that the core curriculum would provide all the children with basic knowledge, skills as well as values----without which the children can not become useful and creative members of our society. For instance, the curriculum would provide the school-children with essential knowledge and skills which are truly required by the college. So that the freshmen would not take too much time and effort to adapt a new studying circumstance after they enter the college. In addition, the core curriculum also instruct values on which a harmony society depends, such as care for others and protect the environment.

However, an exclusive curriculum would probably confine the children's vision to a limited field. Yet more choices and opportunities can be provided by the regional individual curriculum to meet the students' interests and demands. As we all know, everyone has their unique strong points, which can not be developed only by the national core curriculum. The courses that determined by local schools would focus on the individual needs and therefore stimulate the activities of the students to chase more knowledge that they are interested in. There is no doubt that allowing students to specialize in their own concerning fields would make the education more effective and creative.

Moreover, the curriculum with regional characteristics can preserve and develop the local traditional cultures. Human cultures, which are probably entirely of different attributes from place to place, play a vital role in our daily lives. Based on the local situations, such as local history, natural environment and climate, regional individual curriculum would teach the students a colorful world where they grew up. An comprehensive understanding of different parts of the nation would build a solid foundation for the students to cherish what they have and to promote and create more brilliant cultures.

To sum up, in my view, effective education can facilitate the development of our society, which requires people with both solid fundamental abilities and multiple specialties. Therefore, I believe it is a better idea for a nation to strike a balance between the national core curriculum and regional individual curriculum.

感觉第一个例子不是很有说服力。

而且突然来了一句In addition, the core curriculum also instruct values on which a harmony society depends, such as care for others and protect the environment。没有了后文，说理不强。
后面的写得还不错。

光看提纲就觉得思路清晰，可惜这样的提纲即便是写中文都觉得难啊，唉。。。。。。。。。。偶想起了高中政治
