TOPIC: ISSUE5 - "A nation should require all its students to study the same national curriculum until they enter college rather than allow schools in different parts of the nation to determine which academic courses to offer."
心碎了....实在写不下去了,而且最后两个论点也没有展开.
提纲:
1 学生学习统一课程是统一文化的需要,尤其在一个多民族的国家
2 统一课程有其他好处 例如:易管理,大学时统一起点
3 统一课程不代表统一的思维方式
4 允许地方的一些课程设置对保留文化的多样性有帮助

A whole nation should share the same national curriculum until the students enter college. It is a profound decision in a number of respects such as to provide a common sense of culture and to regulate the same level of educational experience before college. Yet a limited freedom of building some particular curriculum for local states is also necessary.

To begin with, when a concept of nation is mentioned, an inexorable aspect of it comes to us would be the culture and the history of that country. The sense of culture should be protected by the whole nation by enlightening the students the same fundamental cultural courses. Here, the “same” is important, to the extent that a country, especially when it is a huge one with numerous ethnic minorities, students should be early taught the essence of nation, of the broader extent of the core culture. Then the students could be provided with a broad view of the whole nation, as other students. It is a profound thing that all the students have the same structure of the essence of the country. In that way, when confronted with the cultural shock, the people of the nation more easily to hold their own value, out of the sense of the whole.

When it comes to scientific courses, it is important to have a common curriculum too. First, it is easier to set a standard evaluating system, also, supervisors could regulate the quality of the teaching efficiently. Secondly, students would have the same level of educational experience   before they enter the university. The professors would not need to take bother to add different knowledge to different students. finally, student's can understand each other more, which improve their teamwork.

It is noted that a nation should require all its students to study the same national curriculum, doesn't mean that students learn the same way of thinking.

Some limited freedom should be needed too, to the extent that to serve the diversity of the culture of different areas is crucial for the further development of the nation’s history, literature and so on.
