I concede the speaker’s assertion that education is a personal matter is on the philosophical correctside of this issue. From the philosophy view, student is one of the subjects of education. The objective of education is to make students receive knowledge and enhance their human capital. However, although we should accent the status students’ learning in education, it is not necessary to deny the function of school or college in education because teaching and learning is complementary and education is consisted of both of them. And teaching in school or college is the best way to educate.
Furthermore, education of individuals concerns the whole interests of society.  

I concede the speaker’s view that education has to with student’s personal will and behavior. After all learning is an indispensable factor of education. One side, students’ subjective will determines whether they would like to receive education and what the results of education will be. If students want to feed themselves and contribute to society in the future, they will prefer to involve in education to receive knowledge and develop their skills. The other side, the preserving study behavior of students is also an important factor to influence the results of education. Learning is never an easy process and need students’ hard work. If they do not make efforts, their good will and education’s ultimate aim would never come true even though there is perfect teaching .

However, it is not reasonable to hold view that education has little to do with school or college. There are three compel arguments at least to reject the speaker’s this view. Firstly, teaching is another indispensable part of a formal education system apart from learning. What is definition of education is that the process to educating and being educated. Here educating means teaching and being educates is equal to learning. That is that, both teaching and learning compose the education integration. We could not ignore the position of teaching in education.

Secondly, teaching in school or college is the most effective among the methods of education. On the one hand, teaching by school or college is the director of learning for students’ own spontaneous learning is usually aimless and inefficient. Yet, school or college is the center of classical and advanced knowledge and the teaching content is wide and integrated, which can make students master helpful knowledge and skills. On the other hand, teachers in school have received professional training. They can make students understand the questions that confuse them as well as inspirit their innovative thinking. Accordingly, school or college play a key role in a person’s learning. We could see that most great men in modern time, when schools and colleges have been developing prosperously, received good education from schools, especially from colleges, varying from the father of modern physics Einstein, financial giant Buffett.
Thirdly, education is not only a personal matter but also a society thing. Individuals’ education will influence the development of society. As the indicator of society needs, school and college can be beneficial to both students and society. Nowadays with the universal use of computers, most element schools have opened based computer classes to develop children’s utilization skill. And the MBA classed in college have become more and more popular with students who wantto get a good job. Since schools or colleges reflect society needs best, the ultimate objective of education, making students and society benefit from it, can be achieved through students’ learning in school or college.
   
To sum up, both learning and teaching is indispensable part in education and of individual education is also a social matter as well as a personal matter. As the best way of teaching, school or college exerts its vital function to achieve the objective of education that makes students learn knowledge and skills to earn their life and devote to society.
