Last century the human beings all over the world bear the most disasters which were drawn down by wars, people-conflicts and other activities. We should teach next generation to avoid thus sceneries since our efforts needed is to confront many uncertain factors, such as the environmental problems, the confronts from the outer space, which leave us little energy to harm one other. But in my view it is not schools’ responsibility to teach the youth to acquaint these while I intensely concede the youth should be required to be inculcated to acknowledge community of human being.

On the one hand, educating the young generation to care about the all the human being prosperity is unnecessarily a basic function of schools. School is a place where people could acquire knowledge and basic skills to survive in the coming complicated society while other institutions should be with responsibility for the correctness of the world view of the youth. Since every student stays in the school for only several hours, if they are required to learn the connectedness of human being, there is little time left to master the basic knowledge which employs them to lead a better life after gradation, and in the mean time students all have the opportunities to receive the human education out school. For example, on the weekend morning they are likely to be taken by their parents to church to be edified by Bible; they are also likely to participate in the activities of protecting the human beings on the world-peace day. So, it is neither advisable nor necessary for school to setup the curriculum of human connectedness which cuts down the invaluable time of student to study the necessary knowledge and costs lots of education resources.

On the other hand, it might be not as effective as expected when school commence the course of educating the students to recognize the community of all the human being. It is a worldwide phenomenon that students collide with the formal education which set a obstacle on the way of educating the students to acknowledge the community of the human being. Most of the students suppose that the teacher is defrauding them of their sympathy and caring when the teacher adopts the teaching method of oral statements only. The best way to educate the youth to recognize the human connectedness is that the youth people along with his several friends goes to the cinema to see the historical films the theme of which is of war, conflict; or that the youth be encouraged to visit the history museum to acquire the psychological identification by the historical relics. As a matter of fact, letting the youth perceive these bodily is always more effective than preaching only by your mouth which would provoke the youth’s antipathy.

In conclusion, we should not rely on the schools but the effort of all the society to achieve the aim of educating the youth to acquire the connectedness of the human being since the effectiveness of the method cited by the arguer is uncertain. The youth should get the attention of all the society while the school’s main responsibility is to impart the youth the basic knowledge and survival skills.                   (534)
