TOPIC: ISSUE51 - "Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student."
The speaker asserts that only when education is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student, it will be truly effective. I disagree with it. In my opinion, education is an extended and extensive process which has to contain several stages and different environment. Therefore, I do not think education will become effective in any "only" way. To better present my opinion let me illustrate it in details.
At first, there are a lot of problems if education is only designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student. Admittedly,  it need to meet the interests of different students as interests are the best motivation for learning and studying which would make the students become experts in some region. But this kind of education is hardly executed in recent ages, because it needs a lot of teachers and workers in educational system who have to experience many different and difficult tests for qualification besides knowledge to meet so many students. Meanwhile the financing is a much bigger amount to insure education effective.  Just so the kind of education is difficult to make true. In the other word, different students have to receive individual training and culturing for their own needs and different interest. Then they must lose an important thing, communion and cooperation with others. All of these training are constructed in the circumstance where a lot of people learn or discuss the one thing.
Secondly, basal and primary education should be uniform and widespread. Because these knowledge are elements and methods of the next advanced learning. For example, Leonardo Da Vinci is a great painter who began his art life with painting eggs. The simple training is the base which is like the groundwork of a great building. Meanwhile, uniform education makes up the shortage of the individual education which I have illustrated before. Uniform education always gives us a picture that a teacher leads many students in a light classroom with some interesting discussion. In this environment, different students could express their own thoughts in front of so many peoples and get the different opinion from the others. During this time, students could learn how to help the others or get help to finish a hard work quickly. All of these are very important for the following life.
Of course, there is also limitation in uniform education which is good for the primary education for the little students. But as the objects growing, education need to be changed and should be designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student. Thus, the enthusiasm of learning from students themselves would be induced out and make students urging knowledge in different areas. We know that people could maximize their creativity when they do something they are interested in. Individual education is just for their needs and interests. From this side, the individual education is important, too.
In sum, I think education contains different stages which need different form and methods. According to the objects of education in different stages, teaching staffs should put the proper plans, including individual education or uniform one, on them.  Thus, students could get truly effective education.
