【课题简介】Thepositions generally involve both theoretical and applied research inelectromagnetics and wireless communications. The research projects cover abroad range of topics, with a particular focus on the development ofhigh-performance models/algorithms for emerging wireless technologies in 5G/6G/THzwireless communications, intelligent transportation (air, ground, underground),underwater communications, Internet of Things, as well as biomedical sensingand healthcare applications. The successful candidates are expected to conductresearch, with a primary focus, but not limited to, the following topics:

(1) Physics-based wireless channel modeling and optimization of sensornetworks in cyber-physical systems.

(2) Radio wave propagation and scattering (indoor, urban, terrestrial,body-centric), integrated sensing & communication, near-field communications/sensing, indoor/outdoor localization.

(3) Acceleration techniques in computational electromagnetics, multiphysicsand multiscale modeling for electromagnetic, micro-/nano-electronic, andbiomedical applications.

(4) Antenna & RF/microwave/millimeter-wave design and measurement, reconfigurableintelligent surface (RIS), electromagnetic compatibility/interference (EMC/EMI).

(5) Machine learning and parametric modeling, physics-informed neuralnetworks, stochastic uncertainty quantification.

Specificresearch topics will depend on the candidate’sbackground. The candidate will have a chance to work with industry partners andinternational collaborators.

【硕士/博士申请要求】GPA至少3.3 out of 4。雅思至少6.5（单项至少6）或托福至少90（单项至少21）或 Duolingo120以上（单项至少100）。海外学位的同学不需要提供语言证明。

【专业要求】电磁、通信、机器学习、计算机科学及应用物理/数学等相关专业。已有相关科研经历/论文的同学优先考虑。

【入学时间】每年1月、5月和9月三次入学时间点。
