在中国，考生只能通过网上报名的方式报考GRE考试。对于考生来说，仔细阅读下列报名程序及完成相关步骤是非常重要的。

1、报名前的准备
电脑要求：您的电脑应与互联网相连接并且装有网络浏览器（最好是IE浏览器）。推荐显示分辨率为1024X768。中国考生还必须提供本人的简体中文姓名和邮寄地址。因此，中国考生必须使用简体中文操作系统来输入汉字。

2、注册用户
如果您从未使用过GRE报名系统，您必须先注册成为用户。选择“新用户注册”进入。
完成这一步，您需要提供基本的个人资料如：姓名、证件号码、邮寄地址、电话号码和电子信箱地址。


3、填写报名表
选择“新考试预约”，同意“重要声明”的内容，再填写考试预约登记表。

4、付费
在“选择考试费支付方式”中，点击相应的支付方式。
目前有两种付费方式：
网上付费：招商银行 和 中国工商银行
电子汇款：通过任何银行将考试费电汇到教育部考试中心指定的银行帐户上。
1）网上付费：可选择招商银行或中国工商银行网上支付方式开始进行网上付费。
您将被引导到招商银行或中国工商银行的安全网页。按照网上银行的指导完成付费程序。请务必记录下支付号码及支付日期，以便日后用于核对和查询您的付款。通常GRE报名系统会立即收到您的付款确认，至此您已完成整个GRE报名程序。GRE报名系统收到银行的付费确认后，系统会发送考试预约成功的通知到您的电子邮箱。

在极少数情况下，银行系统会延迟向GRE报名系统确认考生的付款。因此，请在24 小时之后，登录GRE报名系统，以便核实您的付费和报名状态。如果您仍未看到对您付费的确认，请拨打GRE考试服务热线以寻求帮助。

如您在银行网页上进行付费时网络连接突然中断，这种情况下，您的网上付费可能没有成功。
除了统一的考试费之外，您还需向银行支付服务费。

选择招商银行或中国工商银行的网上付费服务，将能够通过互联网一次完成整个报名程序，并支付较低的手续费。如果您决定取消报名，您所支付的考试费将会马上被退回到您的银行帐户上。如果您想使用这两家网上银行付费服务，但并不具备此两家银行网上支付条件，办理详情：

2）电子汇款付费：选择使用“银行”电汇
您将看到有关通过电汇方式向教育部考试中心指定银行帐号支付GRE费用的重要信息。这些信息包括：教育部考试中心开户银行户名、银行帐号、开户银行名称和地址，以及应汇款的人民币金额。请将电脑屏幕上所显示的上述信息准确地记录下来。

请携带上述资料到银行营业厅办理向教育部考试中心电汇考试费的手续。电汇并不是为GRE考试专门开设的一项特殊服务，它只是银行所开设的一项普通汇款业务。因此，当您到银行营业厅时，您必须要求电汇服务。如果您只说要支付GRE考试费，银行的营业员将不会明白您的要求。请索取该银行普通电汇业务的汇款单，应确保您所填写的信息准确无误，交费后请妥善保管您的收据以便将来查询之用。

根据银行的具体情况，GRE报名系统将在4个工作日左右收到银行确认您的汇款项。请您在确认汇款到达报名中心后，至少一个工作日之后登录GRE报名系统进行报名状态查询。如果您的汇款没有得到确认，请拨打报名中心咨询电话寻求帮助。除了统一的GRE考试费之外，对于通过电汇所支付的每笔GRE考试费，您还需向银行支付相应的手续费，手续费为GRE考试费的1％。

所需个人资料：
网上报名所需的个人基本资料有：
中文姓名，姓名拼音/英文姓名(中国大陆的考生请按新华字典的规则输入标准汉语拼音；
香港、澳门和台湾地区的考生请以证件上的拼音或英文姓名为准; 非中国考生直接输入英文姓名)
身份证件类别，身份证件号码，出生日期
电话号码，电子邮箱地址及通信地址。

请确保您在上网报名之前拥有上述资料并确认其真实性和准确性。错误的信息将导致您不能得到GRE考试的相关信息及考试成绩。因此，您有责任输入正确和真实的个人信息。您将对输入不正确个人信息造成的后果负责。
  
5、查看个人考试信息
选择“查询报名信息”,输入证件号码和密码后,即可查询.

6、考试确认
注册成功后，报名中心会发送确认函到考生提供的电子邮箱地址。
也可提供传真或信件确认，如有需要请致电报名中心。
按确认函上的考试日期到指定考场参加考试
考生应携带规定的证件
除考试特殊规定外，其他任何纸笔等文具不许在考场使用
考试过程中请听从考场管理员的安排

按照ETS通知，自2007年6月29日起，GRE General考试更改费由人民币324元，调整到人民币400元整，同时更改/取消政策也发生变化。
更改
报名一经确认，考生若要求更换考场或更改考试日期，请至少在确认的考试日期之前的3天(且不包括考试当天和申请的当天和国家法定节日在内)下午4点之前确认报名中心收到更改申请和更改费，更改费的缴纳方式与考试费相同，报名中心在收到更改费之前，不会更改。例如:原定本周五的考试日期，最后更改期限是本周一下午4点之前确认报名中心收到更改申请和更改费。

这条对于0806G的考生已经没有太大作用了。
不过如果下一个季度的考试仍然不改革，那么0810G的考生是可以用到这一条的。

首先说明这个是可行的，你可以通过给ets打电话或者发传真来实现。
我是打的电话。这个号码：001-609- 771-7670
拨通以后，先是一段自动的录音，balalalala...，不需要听完这段录音（我就只听了几秒钟，因为给美国打电话还是要一些米米的呀。），直接按0键进入人工服务。
我是一次就接通了，一个woman接的电话，你就直接和她说：你已经考完了作文的机考了，但是笔考没准备好，想把笔考推迟到明年6月，但是同时想保留这次的作文成绩。（这里建议你事先把要说的东西写在之上，以免有所遗漏一些重要的信息。）
她就会说没问题，但是要核实你的身份，就是你的姓名，地址，生日也许还会问register number之类的问题（这些东西也建议写在纸上准备好），核实以后她会告诉你需要40$的reschedule fee。
你说ok，她就问你的信用卡的卡号和到期时间（这个一定要说准确，不然就还要打电话改，又要交钱）关于信用卡的类型，只要是国际信用卡就行，visa和master卡都可以。

大致就是这些了，不过还是希望大家都准备好10G，不要推了。
兄弟我确实是因为有事，已经两个星期没看G了，所以不得不推啊。

1.拨打0016097717670，然后有一段语音提示，可以不听。直接按0，一次没通，继续等待，然后再按0，一个俏皮友好的男声接的电话，听到心情大好。

2.问好。我有点紧张，blabla不停说了一大串告诉他我是个中国学生，已经考完AW，由于没有准备好，想推迟笔考，但同时保留我的AW成绩。那边很安静地听完，没有插话。直到你说完，他确认我的姓名，生日，地址以后，就可以了。我还问他要不要确认我的registrationnumber，他说"No,no,I think I get it"～

3.他会告诉你需要$50的reschedulefee。然后问我信用卡号和过期日期，确认就ok了。他说在3－5日内处理，我问他如果信用卡出问题怎么办，他说会通知我by regulermail or e-mail。如果没问题，我将会收到ETS的一封e-mail通知。

注意：一定要说清楚确认自己是要保留AW成绩的，并且要确认重新考试的时间和地点，还有信用卡号也要注意。对自己有疑问的地方要不停追问不要害怕，否则挂了电话发现还有没弄明白的地方就不好了。多说几个pardon没关系，ETS的工作人员十分的耐心且nice。

我就不停地追问是不是给我保留了AW成绩，结果他本来很确定的，后来在我不停追问下说“I'll put you on hold for a moment please”跑去确认了。回来后告诉我是可行的，我只需要考笔考就可以了。

PS：这位美国GG人巨好巨耐心，我后来感谢地说"You are so nice. Thank you for helping me“ 他说”Aha~So are you, have a nice day.“

其实也不太需要, 只要把话说清楚就行 （说出自己的请求以及姓名，性别，机考时间，地点，证件号码，等等可以证明自己身份的信息）^^

发信之后首先会收到自动回复，如果自动回复受不到，重新发信或者换邮箱。
收到自动回复后大致一周内没有收到准考证者，换邮箱。

Gter的本版精华区内目前只有索取GRE笔试准考证的中文提示和要求，以及英文回函，记得原来有过英文模板，但现在已经不存在了。所以，这次我把我联系的全套信件奉献给大家。

2007年8月参加机考，然后等10月的笔考。忽然发现好像笔考地点没确定。
因为当时机考的时候又是这个调查，又是那个调查的，没耐心看，很多都quit掉了，结果不知道是不是笔考地点也被me给quit了。所以机考的时候一定不要接受什么调查，专心考试就好了。

就给ETS和北京中心各发了一封邮件，都是自动回复，很快。
:( 刚收到邮件，回复的超快！北京的根本不受理咱这业务，让我直接问ETS。其实已经发过邮件了，只是得到自动回复是：Ifyou are writing about registering, rescheduling, canceling orconfirming a Computer-based (CBT)  test appointment, please contactyour local Regional Registration Center (RRC) directly.

     由于我个人考试当天在上海有事的原因，我将今年的GRE笔考地点由原来北京的清华改到了上海的华师大。刚刚打电话回来。从开始有这个改地点的想法，就开始在寄托招帖子，发现没有很合适的和比较详细的说明，有一个帖子上面说的ETS的回信和我收到的也不一样，所以将我的更改过程详细地说一下，以便以后有和我一样不得不改的情形的同学来参考。

说明一下：
      我是对第二部分的考试也就是VQ的笔考考场进行更改，需要联系ETS，可以电话或者传真，E-mail应该也可以。我个人觉得电话更可靠一些，所以打电话。PS:我是和一个同学一起改的；
      对机考作文考场的更改应该只需联系国内的考试中心就可以。

      打电话之前，我先发邮件询问了一下，也都收到了回复（邮件件后面）。今晚打电话才正式完成更改工作。
      根据我收到的邮件，可以打的电话有 001-866-473-4373

      打电话时可以使用17908的IP卡（可打国际长途），要用网通的机子。我用的就是这个卡，先用网通的IC卡，再拨这个IP，一分钟2.4元，IC也要正常的花钱...没用其他省钱的方法，感觉这个就挺方便...

      看到以前的帖子里有打第二个电话成功的，于是我先打了第二个电话，但是一直是忙音，所以又改打第一个电话，一次接通。打电话的时间是晚上十点半左右。
接电话的是男音，说得很慢，听不清的时候还可以一直说pardon或者Sorry, I can’t hear you clearly之类的，他都会放慢速度和加大音量，比较的kind.
是我同学先打，直接跟他表明要改考场，但不换考试时间。于是那边问register number，我同学说admissionletter丢掉了，不知道这个number，那个人让报last name和firstname，好像是直接从计算机上查到的，又check了一下date ofbirth还有以前的考场就OK了。至于要改的考场，你只需告诉他考场号码就行，当然他会问你。比如我们要改的华师大是10607。
      
      之后是问你的address，就是你现在和机考时填的地址，是用来接收新的准考证的。

      最后问了付费方式：注意改考场也是要40$的（老美就是黑…）…和改期一样要了国际信用卡的卡号和到期日期。我们用的是招商的VISA信用卡。
同学说完之后，和那个人说她的friend也要改（也就是我），于是把电话递给我，我又重复了上面的过程。害怕说错，我又专门和那个人确认了一下，只改地点不改时间，并且询问了考试的时候还需要什么，他说只需要准考证和证件，就是和未改时一样。最后我又询问了什么时候新的admissionletter可以到，答14~16天。然后确认没有别的了程序了。

      要拜拜的时候，那个男中音很柔和地问要不要take asurvey，我问多长时间，说只有一分钟，于是就做了，可惜在大街上，太吵我没听清回答需要按那个键，随便一按又不对，只听到话筒里说：Wehaven’t got your entry之类的…具体的忘了…然后就挂了…

      打完之后，反应过来没有问怎样才能得知我们真的改成功了…不过ms这样就已经好了。想着过一两天去看看卡里的钱是不是没了。

     下面是我发的邮件：根据邮件来现实，一封说需要在5月6号之前发传真和E-mail表明要更改，另一封说更改费用要在考试前三天送到。邮件说的象是在Reschedule，我实在是不信任的说，还是打电话好一点儿。不用担心和老美说话，挺好玩的，8过我今天说的超烂^_^

      在准备更改之前，我给ETS发了邮件，询问该地点的事情，我的第一封邮件和回复分别如下（回复相当的快，只经过一天）：

关于6G更改笔考地点详细过程


昨晚给ETS打电话终于把笔考地点改好了，现简述如下：
1.之前未发邮件或传真，直接用skype打的电话 001-866-473-4373、001-609-771-7670（感觉第一个更好用）
2.需要你的（1）:last name, first name, date of birth或者（2）confirmation number or （3）register number 这三者提供一种就可以了
3.打电话刚开始时有一段话，听不懂也不要紧，等着就行，大概五十秒钟后就直接转到人工了
4.更改后的笔考地点只需提供考场号就可以了
5.ETS会再问你的ADDRESS（收准考证的地址），以便确认核实
6.然后就是你的信用卡号和截止日期，不用在电话上输，用嘴说就行了
7.至于什么时候打电话，自己算算时差，13个小时。因为我打了几次，确定22：30-23：30都可以，当然稍微提前后推后一些应该也可以
8.改好后，你可以再问问对方你的其他的信息，以便核实确实改的是你的，而且改好，还可以问个,is that all。
9.我打了几次，每次最后都会问你是否做survey，不想回答的话直接说sorry就好了，对方还是很nice的，然后就是双方thanks you  goodbye
10.整个过程感觉ETS还是很聪明的，服务也很好，比如confirmation number里面有很多0，我就直接说and seven zeros and...）

在取消的考试日期(而不是受理退考申请日期, I guess)后一周内, ETS寄出check到你报名时的注册地址. 信件为平信, 正常寄达时间应该在一周以内, 如果地址有误或者邮寄失误则无限延期. 如果2个月还没有收到就再问ETS要吧.

收到之后, 拆开信, 里面又是一个信封. 这一个按照指示拆开, 里面就是支票. 上面有两个数字比较重要, 一个是check date, 就是ETS开check的日期, 90日内有效, 如果过期才收到或者收到之后一直忘了去领那么参考上面没有收到的解决办法; date上面是checknumber, 在银行填表时有用.

然后带上身份证, 拿着check去当地的中国银行. 我去了北京五道口附近财智健身隔壁的那家店, 人好多好多的, 领号, 排队, 等了2个小时 ><. 办理的业务叫做托收, 属于本地业务所以5点之后也可以办理. 猜想各地都差不多, 恩.

先去服务台填一张托收委托书.付款地-美国, 票据种类-光票, 票据号码就是上面说到的Check Number. 注意留上正确的电话号码. 身份证验明正身之后, 缴60元人民币的手续费(50元托收费+10元邮费), 对方会给你一张回执. 收好回执就可以走了.

45天之后银行打电话通知领钱, 带上回执&身份证.

新消息, 现在去中国银行不能直接领钱出来了, 如果有帐户的把钱打到账户里, 没有的话必须要开一个...

如果能够去机考，尽量还是去，考了再取消也比不去好。

现在GRE退考要求在考试前三天（三个工作日）发邮件给北京考试中心取消考试。

我无语之后，继续骚扰。
另外，我原本参加了086G的考试，但至今，成绩单还没收到。因此，这次新旧帐一并算了。
在这封邮件里，我列出自己的三个问题
1）086G成绩单没收到，要求重寄。 2）询问取消0810G后的refund的数额以及寄出时间。 3）更改接收地址。

然后重复上述等待过程，最后收到ETS回复：
We have processed your request for a refund. A refund check in the amount of US $97.50 will be mailed within six to eight weeks to the address you provided. Please allow sufficient time for mail delivery.

Although your June 7, 2008 GRE&reg; scores were mailed to you on July 16, 2008, we are sending you a duplicate report at no additional charge to the address you supplied in your e-mail. Your scores were also mailed on July 16, 2008* to the following institutions you designated as score recipients.

从上述回复可以看到1）现在退考的返款是 $97.5。2）ETS在寄送成绩单给考生的同时也会寄给免费寄送学校。3） 6G的成绩单ETS也会免费重寄给我。 （N无语的说，这么久了）

最近这个问题一直使很多板油困惑，为此作文版IQ28版主和我专门咨询了北京报名中心NEEA，情况如下：

1、报名后考AW之前取消，再次报名没有时间限制，退87.4美金；
(Demo: 必须在AW前10个工作日——约等于15天——前取消, 否则没有refund. 另: 我和几个朋友退考收到的都是$87.5 )

2、考AW时当场取消，可以马上报下一个月的考试，比如8月1号和8月30号取消都只能报9月1号及其以后的考试，退35美金；

3、已经参加AW出考场后取消的话，NEEA无法显示你的状态为取消，再次报名参加AW的话ETS会在你2次作文中随机抽改一次；

     NEEA说第3种情况要专门写电邮描述你的详细个人信息和考试时间地点。这种制度上不会限制你报的第2次作文时间，但实际确认操作大致需要一个月的时间，因此从取消作文到再次考作文的确需要一个月时间。

这里仅仅有针对笔考取消的经验，估计未参加笔考而只参加了机考时候的取消也可恢复成绩，方法类似。希望有经验的板油能够提供，谢谢了。;)

是不是说我要发一份书面的文件给它包括那些他们需要的内容，另外还要交$30就可以了?似乎还要写上寄送学校的code?后面一大串寄送的内容我不太懂他们是什么意思。我其实只要保留分数就好了。能不能帮忙...

申请必须是以寄信或者fax的方式, 不可以用email

需要$30(应该可以直接把credit card帐号fax给他们), 并且提供各种注册信息来confirm自己的身份

送分类型选择G, 如果你考过sub考试就可以GS一起选, 同时可以选择4个免费送分学校

分数会晚一点出来, 比其他人晚2周左右

以前不知道这个说法, 记得6G有联系过ETS的版友告诉我没有成功...

076G查分已经开始了，很高兴成为版内第一个发帖报分的。成绩还不错，全仗一直以来在寄托家园的学习，嗯，潜水学习~~太感谢寄托这个平台了，却没有贡献过什么，汗。给大家发个我查分的流程吧，不清楚流程的版友可以参考一下，以便迅速查到成绩。我使用的是skype软件，它的好处就是可以拨打那个北美免费查分电话+18884737267（注意：这个免费仅指免电话费，ets查分费还是要交的），另外，可以省去四处寻找可以拨打国际长途的电话机的烦恼。当然，你需要一台电脑和可以登陆skype的网络连接。

1. 下载skype并安装，我是在http://skype.tom.com/下的。
2. 运行skype，登陆该软件需要账号，没有注册过的话就先注册一个号。然后就登陆。
3.接下来就在“拨打电话”标签下拨打免费查分电话：+18884737267。（本来skype拨打固化是要先购买skype点数的，但由于俺们有这个免费电话，所以就不需要充值了）。国家选美国，电话号码8884737267。打通以后，按照寄托前辈说过的一步一步做啦，很详细了:)蓝字摘自寄托《查分DIY全攻略》https://bbs.gter.net/thread-685990-1-1.html，红字是我加的一条补充~

DIY查分步骤：
1. 打通电话后，先是一个女声说出了一段INTORDUCTION，你如果已清楚，直接进入按1(省时间)。之后，如果你没有反应，稍后会再重复之前那段introduction的话。还是按1进入。
2. 提示有两种服务，查分还是送分，查分按1
3. 问你是否要输入registration number听成绩，是按1 （无聊中尝试了一下，这步也可以选2，也就是输16位的confirmationnumber，就是aw机考时的那个号，不过步骤5的考试月年貌似要输机考的月份和年份，也能locate到你的成绩，但再往后输信用卡号等步骤我没试过。若有版友遗失了笔试注册号，可以试试这个。因为你的机考confirmation number在51test网站上是可以查到的）
4. 输入registration number，电脑回报进行确认，正确按1，错误按2
5. 然后是考试日期，连续输入考试日期的月份、年份的后两位，例如1003是查03年10月的成绩。电脑回报，正确按1，错误按2
6. 输入你的出生月份和日期(四位数字)，例如4月28出生的，输入0428，电脑回报，正确按1，错误按2
7. 此时电脑报告成绩已经查到，但是如果是N/A状态的，系统提示你一周之后再行查询
8. 如果成绩已出，电脑提示选择付款方法，信用卡付款，按1，其它汇款的按2
（以下是信用卡程序）
9. 输入信用卡号码,电脑回报，如正确按1，错误按2；
10. 输入信用卡到期时间（expiration date），连续输入月份和年份的后两位。例如2008年10月到期则输入1008，电脑回报，正确按1，错误按2；

感想：
确实可以免费重新让ets衰人再寄一份，但在只有一次机会且你没收到成绩单的情况下。

1 如果你觉得自己学校的地址收不到
你想让别人代收 要注意 ets会忽略你写的名字 换上你的名字
所以有可能在你的代售地址那里 人家查无此人 退回邮件
所以 如果决定代收 和收发室打好招呼
2 我的第2封用了12天收到 机关 学校受到的快一些
3 地址翻译 多用拼音 多去收发室看 那里的人不认识个别单词也会影响收信的速度 我遇见过一封成绩单 optics 老太太不认识光学

电话送分方法：

填写填写证件号码，可以用7位的Registration Number或者16位的AppointmentNumber。不同之处在用Reg的时候需要选择考试日期，注意是笔考的日期，而用App的时候不需要填写考试日期。最后一项本人只用Paper-Based Test Center Code登陆成功过，是5位的笔考考场号码，准考证上可以找到。

***电话送分时选择只送general或者送general和sub的方法：
在电话送分的时候，输入每个institution code & department code以后，会问你
1。是否送general成绩，选1，送。选2，不送。然后听到
2。是否送sub成绩，选1，送。选2，不送。（这个选项只有合并成绩了以后才会出现）
这里大家要注意，没有第三个选项说让你同时送General和Sub。。。因为如果两个都要送，那两次问你你都选1就可以了。
如果两个都选1，电话里就报出，你把general成绩和sub成绩送到这个地方。确认，送下一所。
如果只送general，就会报把general成绩送到这个地方。
大家完全可以自己研究那个电话系统，因为直到最后全送完才让你输信用卡号的，之前完全可以打着玩，呵呵。



FAQ：
1。打电话查分输registration number,输general的6G，它告诉我最近可用分数是07年6月，输sub的说是07年11月的，是不是说明我的没有被合并？想知道合并了的电话里听到的是什么？
是没有被合并。 真正合并了就听到最近成绩07/11月了。一般官方解答，合并需要时间2-3天。我自己的经历是超过两三天。我打电话问说是7天左右。。。那时候是旺季。。。大家都在合。。。实际至少用了5天。

2。现在没有合并，不会1个星期以后再给合并了吧，ETS办事效率低，我要防着点。。。
应该不会的，如果地址不一样应该不会自动合。。。而且看了送分过程大家应该明白了，合了也不影响你什么。。。

Q: GRE SUB如何与GENERAL合并?

A: 可以打ETS的人工服务电话，打过电话后，等一周，基本就可以合并这是免费的。想知道合并是否成功，可以试着电话送分，使用sub的注册号，如果寄送的时候，询问你是否送general，就说明你的成绩合并成功，否则就是还没有合并。
也可以去信要求ETS合并成绩，信中附上成绩单复印件。
