In a long history , there has been a  discssion as vogue that wether some areas of wilderness and in which only few persons live should be  preserved by  national finance .Maybe in democratic countries ,  vote is the  public affairs' only decider  , so that the profits of these areas having  seldom votes are easily ignored. However,  some persons of more foresight insist  the administration systems must afford the resposibility no matter basing on  economic interests or the enviromental ones  in a long trem.

On one hand , the economic  aspect may be themost effcetive way to persuad the politicans an the public . In many countries , the wilderness and the lack of human exsistance do no mean the low economic output. The histroy are replete of the instance to prove it.  Some precious mines undetected are hiden under  the earth or in the mountains or beneath the seabed . In 18th century, the Emperor of Russia  considered that the far distance , the  freezing climate and the cost of the army protecting the dominion  , so that the Alaska was sold to The Unated States for only several million dollars . But not so far later , abundant resources were discovered in this land ,including gold, oil  , iron and even diamond . Also , another more recent example would be the Nakuru Lake National  Park in Kennya  where in the early of this year  there happened a serious fire  .Although only  less than five thousand turists come to this vigin land , the income gained from them occupies more than one third of the national domestic  product. So it can be conclude that  the lack of persons or the wilderness are not equal to the unprofitable.

On the other hand , in long views the significance of some vigin areas also shoud be preserved . Some areas  ,even though  unsuitable to residence or hardly having attractivity to tourists  ,stll play  very important role in the circulation of the nature. A good case in point is the Amazon drainage area . The people living in this area are less than 10% of the total in Bazil, however, the earth of the area could  contain more than 60% of rainfall in this country ,whithout which the most people in Bazile would probably suffer from the flood  yearly. Also ,the rainforest in this area ,called "lung of the earth"is significant to the internatioanl eviroment.A repoert made by the Uited Natioans indicated that it absorbs 30% carben dioxgeon of the world every day so as to prevent from the rising of the sea level at least more than 2 meters in the recent century . Therefore ,  it is dangerouse to ignor some seemly unimportant wilderness land.

Admittedly, all the governments are faceing the delima between the infinite subjects and the limited public resouces .So ,to some areas lacking of people or the focus of the mass, the protection is usually delayed or canceled ,which counld be understandable but not resonable.Nevertheless , a foresighted leader or goverment must pay enough  attention and finance on these stratigecal lands or the longterm losing would be much more than current safing.

In sum, however, the wilderness lands should be lastingly focused on, because thay may be  the exsistance of the history , the promise for today's safty or the fortune in the future .
