One would doubt that since so many new elements are coming up day by day at present, what we could learn from our ancestors would be likely to be out of date and misleads us thereby. Indeed, times call for adaptation and change with surroundings all the time. However, there is also no denying that from the past, we can conclude what is popular as a law, which is more far-reaching than events themselves past. We should go no further to realize the powerful guidance of lessons of the past than period before and during presidency of Roosevelt. It is well-known that the chief causes of Great depression, breaking out before presidency of Roosevelt, is failure of the government, which originated in the belief that the best market needed no interfere from government. For example, during the hardest time defending aggression of Japanese, Chinese people then assimilated courage and power from those heroes in history fighting for dependence of nation. They even wrote a song, known as the nation anthem later, to sing highly of these historic heroes and inspired themselves at the same time to fight with enemies till the final success.

To sum up, understanding the past can equip us with indispensable and useful information for making decisions, and also guidance to avoid mistakes, so as to perform for a better society.
