about high school unit deficiency

my status on UT Austin shows that i have deficiency in Language Art and Social Study, both 0.5.
i don't know how they convert my credits in China to ones there...
and now they need me to submit a form to clear up credits, in another word, to complete extra courses before enroled in UT.

I'm pretty sure this is not a question to be asked here. Not many people here r studying in the us.
An easy way of doing it is to go to ur school in China and ask for a transcript that you can send to UT, and tell them that you have taken these classes previously
