建筑的话我肯定选Yale而不选GSD，感觉yale更踏实。
只是地点太差了，没法和波士顿比。

I do not know why only a few Chinese students select Yale.

As far as I know, the Dean of the School, Robert A.M. Stern, is a respected architect and historian and the good thing about the program he oversees at Yale is that he makes it a point to hire professors with very different views [which are not in many cases the same as his own] about architecture.  This exposes the student to many diverse ideas and forces the student to come to his or her own conclusions about what architecture is.  This is not necessarily the case at other schools, where there can be prevailing ‘trends’ that are embraced by faculty who all think alike and more or less try to get their students to think the same way.

To be honest, if you need a harmonious environment to generate your own idea about architecture. Yale should be the one of the better choices.

yale比较自由发展，这是好事也是坏事。
所以他的program评价不高，甚至有人觉得他是明星建筑师的party场所，红红火火，但是真正扎扎实实的特别有针对的东西却很少。
我觉得如果是相对成熟的可以去，但是为了接受训练的就应当三思了。
