ISSUE130 - "How children are socialized today determines the destiny of society. Unfortunately, we have not yet learned how to raise children who can help bring about a better society."

From nomadic tribe to modern society, the importance of education should never be ignored. Especially, children are the most important chain in the education. Some of us even believe that how children are socialized determines the destiny of society. However, the way to teach them is always not the best way: We still have a lot to do if we try to raise the children to bring about a better society.

Children own the best creativity. When people think about their childhood, they will find they can be more creative to be a child than to be an adult. People lose the creativity when they grow up. We become to be afraid of so many things: We know we should run carefully because we afraid of tumble; we knows we should obey the things boss said because we afraid of challenging the authority or we will be fired. Adults' imaginations are limited by the society, for they know what should do and what should not do. By contraries, children seem afraid of nothing. We must be shame when children said the moon likes handle in the sky because the teacher told us the moon likes the little ship. Children can imagine more things than us.

This creativity can always help bring about a better society. The world is different in the children's eyes. They try to rebuild the buildings because they look like stones; they will imagine a way to let the car fly in the sky because they feel the road is too crowded; they will think about a new way of games because they need more exciting, etc. These can stimulate them to learn the things which concerns about their dreams. Watt tried to create a machine which can offer more energy and power even when he was a child. And after hundreds of failing, he makes the steam engine. this bring a lot of convenient to our society.

However, adults take too much care of their children. Children becomes to lack of their interesting and imagination. In some eastern countries, parents try their best to send the children to the best schools. And obviously, children in that society must be very hardworking in their childhood. Around by so many homework and family education, the children lose their interest to be creative: they resist to their parents; they spend all the time on the computer games; they are drunk all days and have sex with all kinds of friends. Adults fail to raise their children who can help bring about a better society. Actually, these "problematic students" even can be very dangerous to the society.

Fortunately, some of the parents learn such problems. They begin to teach their children in a proper way: they only teach the children the knowledge and the basic moral; they let the children to use their imagination and creativity and encourage them to do the things they like; the college and university are not important to their children if they do not like, etc.

In sum, the children are the future. People should find proper way to teach them and the children's imagination and creativity should never be ignored. These best characters can help bring about a better society.
