How children are socialized today determines the destiny of society. Unfortunately, we have not yet learned how to raise children who can help bring about a better society.

Mostly, children shall be the hope of a society because of three main reasons----owning a better time to learn "more and better" knowledge than the people of the past, being the potential source of creation of any kind of things in the world, and behaving more energetically than the old men. Actually, young can mean anything.

Therefore, there is a belief long existing in the world that people can change the world they live by the effect of the education of children, or the next generation. According to such belief, children are gathered together and particular curriculum with specific aims is held in schools in a specially designed mechanism. Children in schools of different parties or different educational standpoints would be indoctrinated differently, without the awareness that children in that age are far less than enough to be ready to involve in the conflicts or pursuits of adults. If childhood is largely something to do with the career of person when grown up, I can see no future in the memories or acknowledgements of techniques of how politicians set up curriculums in schools in children's for their own sake.

However, there are benefits of the conception and following actions. It is taken as a long developing maintenance so that more attentions are put onto children and more funds are distributed to the education of children. Even those who are indigent would like to encourage their children to go to school since they assumed that to be a possible way out. Children are sent to school and they are treated relatively equal despite of their sex and family. And with the faith of the better socialization of the children, TV and other programs are strictly regulated and arranged. All reasonable even imaginable protection is established for our hope of the society.

"A Greenhouse" for children seems to be perfectly built for them. However, astonishments occur when the real society is open to the children of yesterday. Some well-behaved kids adapt quickly to the evil side of the society such as violence and drugs. And the situation of crimes of them may turn even worse than the adults. Because they don’t have a sense of self-protection and the ability to tell rights from the wrongs. What is waiting for them is just a "free world".

However, that is not a real problem. Just more and more lessons included would fix that. The real problem is when adults cannot solve the problems they just turn away and leave them to the next generation. Adults just want to give the children more and more lessons and seem reluctantly learn from their own. What is pessimistic is the attitude towards development of the society. It is the construction of the society by us that should be given to the children, but not the burden and failure that might depress them.

Let the children know that they should do as excellent as we do to build the society so that the children of theirs would enjoy as happy as their childhood.
