还是说不出好的例子来，只知道摆道理，唉~~~

Some people argue that it is unnecessary for university students whose majors are not science to take the scientific courses. However, I strongly believe every student in university should take basic science classes. In order to carry out the general education, the science curriculum must be made as the core course in universities. I will demonstrate my viewpoints in the following passages.

For one thing, the scientific knowledge and ability is the essential quality of the modern world. Science is the primary agent of the society, especially form the nineteenth century, when we human beings stepped into the industrial society. Scientific applications can be seen every where in our daily life. They have been indispensible instruments for us. For instance, it can not image a world without electrical equipments or internet in contemporary world. Therefore, only can one master some basic knowledge about science, he/she could maintain normal live. It is of great importance for the university students to learn some scientific knowledge in order to adapt to the modern world.

Furthermore, the scientific subjects are good for the training of logic and thinking. Not matter what major you are from, it is helpful for improving your mental ability. For example, one can take some mathematics problems to exercise the ability of thinking, and also one can study some biological questions to know more about the nature or oneself.

Finally, in my opinion, the value of scientific knowledge does not depend on its utility, but on itself. The aim of education is not to make a group of specialists who just know a narrow field of knowledge. Its aim should focus on cultivating complete man who has the ability to handle different kinds of problems.

To sum up, I think the scientific courses should be placed in the center of the university education. It will benefit the students a lot, no matter what majors the students have or what jobs they will do in the future.

你这里提到例子的问题，我觉得只要你把细节写出来就可以拉，不要太刻意，你这里就用了不少例子啊，但不够具体
