Advertising influences people in a negative way

Advertising is a popular thing in today’s business society, which conveys consumers with the information of productions. Though much advertisement distracts people’s attention, or may convey wrong information, the influence of advertising is positive rather than negative.
First, advertising can develop consumers’ level of living. Many people don’t know what they really want, thus the advertisement delivers the information and irate the need of consumers. For example, furniture turned various these years, if there is no advertising, people will not reach the amusing new ideas of the designers, such as folding bed, two-way book store that can be used as dining table. We learn about new types of products and services by seeing it on TV or other media, Advertising changes our life.
Secondly, advertising conveys positive attitudes by using sport or movie stars who are popular and seem nicer and healthier than common people. Can you imagine the model in a perfume advertisement is ugly and the house is a mess? The magic of advertisement is to create a condition that people dream of, hope is essential for us, right?
Finally, advertising helps people kill their time, when in the bus, or elevator, or the subway. At that time, people have nothing to do, they can watch the movable TV, or just skim through the newspaper and find out new trend of consuming.
Admittedly, some advertising tempts people buy wrong productions or even pursue the things they do not want, sometimes, the advertising stars conveys unhealthy information that is not suitable for children, for instance, some children start to smoke because they think this looks cool. However, people in today’s society become more and more dependent on advertising, and surely advertising will play an important role in our daily life, which determines that the government should take measures to restrain the negative influence of advertising industry.
