各位牛人扫一眼我的背景，给点申请意见吧

先谢谢各位前辈 牛人了。。
本科大四，2+7的学校（但不是北清复旦中科） 计算数学专业
方向：计算与应用数学
GPA: 不知道怎么算 百分制 Overall: 90.7/100  Major: 93.7/100
主要获奖：数学建模全国一等 ；北美数学建模MCM一等
科研经历：无正式的，只有一个中科院计算所实习 和马上跟一个相对较牛的教授做点小东西；
论文：没有大的  建模竞赛的论文被 工程数学学报 发表； 还有一篇数学专业的译文（实在是鸡肋）。。
英语：IBT 93 （口语17 太差了，会再考一遍） GRE 刚考 估计也就1300+4  （实在是没时间看。。。）
其他经历：算不上amazing， 就不提了。。
推荐： 中科院的一个老师 还有我们院最牛的一个教授 以及其他

上边也说了 确实时间很仓促，不怎么了解。
希望各位同道中人能给点意见

再多申几个吧。你申的大多数学校都基本上没戏。 比你背景牛多了的人都没去成MIT，而在purdue读博士。如果是一定要出国就再多申一点学校吧。 还有就是今年purdue 换了chair, 不一定会倾向于招收中国学生。

1. Botong Wang was the top of the waiting list of MIT in 2006, now he is in Purdue math dept doing research about algebraic geometry.
Botong Wang (admitted in fall2006): high ranking in Peking University, 42th IMO golden prize, amazing recommendation letters, ~~~~

2. Xingbo Xu (admitted in fall2006)
Xingbo Xu ranked NO.1 in math dept at Zhejing University, GPA: 3.99/4.00
He has offers from Purdue, U Minnesota and UIUC~~~~
He chose Purdue Computational Finance Program

3. Wenhui Shi (admitted in fall2007)
Wenhui Shi ranked very high in math dept at Tsinghua University, "ten most outstanding undergraduate students honor" in Tsinghua,
Now she is in math dept at Purdue.

4. Guanying Peng (admitted in fall2007): College: Peking University

5. Jing Li (admitted in fall2007): College: Zhejiang University, Master: Zhejiang University. got some papers~~

NYU stats dept is very small. I took two courses there this fall and spoke to my prof, who made it very clear that they normally will not admit applicants without a master in stats.
